The art of slowing down before we flow 💙

Our warm-up is more than just the beginning of class — it’s an intentional part of our practice. We take the time to awaken the body, mobilize the spine, and prepare the muscles for the movement ahead. Because a happy, mobile spine is the foundation of mindful movement.

What makes our warm-up special? It’s thoughtfully curated to reflect our studio’s approach: intentional movement, attention to detail, and no rushing the process. 💙

📣Announcement time!

Hey there! This is Sarah here, the new owner of Austin’s. Some of you may know that before we bought Austin’s, I co-founded and directed the local non-profit, @gardenjoy__ . Before that, I cooked for family and friends, and long before that I was nourished and inspired by Sunday family dinners growing up. They quite literally shaped my life and career path! I wrote many recipes over the ten years that I worked for Garden Joy, many of them shared with our community through their recipe kit program. I have always dreamed of writing a cookbook, and last year, I got an amazing team together that helped me realize that dream!

This book would not exist without the incredible talent and generosity of @koriandjared. Her photography brought these recipes and the beauty of Garden Joy to life in ways I could have only dreamed of. I am so grateful she shared her gifts with this project.

I am also grateful to @studiojoyca for believing in us, and collaborating over the years. Without them, @gardenjoy__ simply wouldn’t exist.

Finally, my good friend, chef @pickitcookiteatit spent countless hours with me-testing, cooking and styling all of the recipes you’ll find in the book.

I’m so excited to announce that PREORDERS for my book, The Joyful Table, are FINALLY OPEN!! Preorder through the link in our bio, by 10/31, and not only will you get a signed copy of this gorgeous hardcover book, but you will be supporting a local cause near and dear to my heart. All proceeds directly benefit Garden Joy’s vital work—providing fresh food and field trips to kids right here in the Central Valley. Copies can be shipped, or picked up on 11/28 at the @riponfarmersmarket fall market. The will also be available to pick up at @studiojoyca, @austinscoffeecrafters and @riponbookstore at the end of November. Thank you for your support! 💚 by @studiojoyca
