Australia House returned for a third year to @amsterdamdanceevent last week.

As Australian dance and electronic music continues to grow all around the world, it made for the perfect moment to expand the program at Australia House, which was once again hosted at Box Sociaal Jordaan. In 2026, the House welcomed Australian and international industry, artists, trailblazers and tastemakers across three days, thanks to the support of the @ausembnl, the @aseanaustraliacentre and @exchange.asia.

Australia’s electronic and dance music scenes are thriving right now. As @mixmaganz exclusively reported for us, 45% of all Australian music streamed outside of the country on Soundcloud is electronic. It comes off the back of @rufusdusol’s recent Inhale/Exhale tour, which was the highest-grossing tour in electronic music history, generating US$158 million from 1.7 million tickets.

We hosted three networking breakfasts, with one focused specifically on industry from Latin America and another on industry from Southeast Asia, while opening the doors to those who wanted a meeting space and some of the best coffee in Amsterdam.

Thank you to Kevin Playford, Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in the Hague, for speaking at our breakfast, the @boxsociaal team who are always incredible partners with us at ADE, and everyone who came and connected with the Australians in town for the event.
