For my first collection I have worked exclusively with stones in shades of the sea : luscious emerald tsavorite, sky blue aquamarine, deep tourmalines, blue sapphires, and my personal favourite, natural blue topazes all the way from Bangkok.

The pieces I have made are aesthetically inspired by the Mediterranean, specifically, the startling, surreal blue of the Aegean Sea.

But more than aesthetics, I have become obsessed with gemstones lately—understanding cut and clarity, yes, but more importantly, traceability and ethical sourcing.

As I have been progressing to natural stones, knowing the full trace origin from earth to your hands is of paramount importance.

My process uses the ancient art of lost wax casting, which has been in practice for centuries and is one of the oldest and most traditional forms of jewellery making, dating back to the 3rd century BC.

Honouring ancient craftsmanship, natural materials, and deep love for the sea always 🤍

Introducing La Sirène.

The siren is a mythical creature known for her attachment to the sea, famous in Greek mythology.

I am a water sign, ruled by the moon, with Greek heritage. La Sirène felt like a natural progression of all of these core aspects of myself.

My background as an artist has always been in traditional drawing, then painting, and more recently in jewellery. I have been working for the last year on developing these crafts, and now offering a made to order model. Bespoke pieces, lovingly handcrafted, rooted deeply in the spirit of the Mediterranean.

These works aim to be an antidote to the modern world, using ancient practices of art and jewellery making that have been in use for centuries. I am deeply inspired by ancient design and slow craftsmanship, as well as natural materials.

Only pure metals are used in jewellery—no plating—meaning they are designed to be worn in the sea.
