Bespoke brand marketing strategy & support for small creative businesses 🪄
POSTS STORIES REELS
Increasing brand awareness is something we should be striving for all the time! It’s never enough to only speak to the same pool of people, I’m sure you know this already. It’s also really easy to get comfortable just engaging with your existing audience instead of actively looking for new audiences. Some ways to spread your net wide: Social content aimed at those who don’t already follow you Encouraging word of mouth Collaborations Advertising Events Networking Press Physical things! Leave behinds/badges/signage SEO Awards, exhibitions, competitions Choosing the right mix for you totally depends on your particular business. Do get in touch if you need help working this out for your business 👀 #brandmarketing #marketingstrategist #brandstrategist #smallbizmarketing #contentstrategist by @studioluxmore
Always surprises me when people don’t do this! Super simple way to make sure no one scrolls past your content! #hook #contentmarketingstrategy #quickwins #brandmarketing #marketingstrategist by @studioluxmore
Not everyone is supposed to want you, your brand, your business! And that’s ok! Find your niche, know your USP & design your marketing activities specifically with them in mind, your efforts are MUCH more likely to land with your core people if you are specific & targeted. Question is, do you know who your audience really is?? #brandmarketing #usp #brandstrategist #marketingstrategist #smallbizmarketing by @studioluxmore
💫 Want a quick win to refresh & reinvigorate your social presence? 🪄🪄🪄 Embrace video! No rocket science, but sometimes we overlook the obvious; people really do want to consume content through video. ⚒️ Work out how to make this work for you for your touch points . (Also side note - using video on your website instantly lends a more contemporary, engaging feel). 🎠🎠🎠Failing video content, use your carousels! Think about your content as telling a story, and that doesn’t usually happen with a single still image these days. 📕 What story are you telling? Do you have a hook? Take us on a journey! People are curious and they WILL want to know, especially if you are real & tell us all the good bits! x (Sorry for all the traffic noise! 🫣 Who can guess where I’m walking?) #contentstrategytips #contentstrategist #brandmarketing #brandstrategist #tellastory by @studioluxmore
Yes there’s a lot of noise, and generic content. BUT we CAN still stand out from all that. Things to remember! 🍭 be your weird & wonderful self! Don’t try & look or feel like someone else. (People would see straight through that & it wouldn’t land well with your audience) 🍭 show us your own brilliant, unique perspective! The ideas in YOUR head. Your vision. What you believe in. 🍭 There’s still space to carve out for yourself. Remember what you’re about & keep it front of mind 💪 #brandmarketing #standoutfromthecrowd #beyourselfalways #bewierd #brandstrategist by @studioluxmore
A blank page can be really daunting! Very often, I talk to clients who are paralysed by the fear of getting going, and that prevents them from actually starting at all. Just remember, your audience aren’t mind readers, you’ll need to spell out how you are going to help your audience, what they’ll get out of taking notice of you, (and keep repeating this message often, with new examples and in different ways) and that is a-okay. I’ve just started working with a new client and starting their socials from scratch so going to take my own advice for them. Here we go! 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️ . . . . . #socialmediastrategist #brandmarketing #marketingstrategist #brandstrategist #contentstrategytips by @studioluxmore
Social media ( I know ) is a time vampire , but we still need to use it ( and sometime it can be fun) - as long as you keep it under control. Both Charlie and I are trying to make sure we keep it on the useful side, not the where did I just lose an hour side…what are your thoughts? #lucidrepwork #socialmedia #workbalance by @studioluxmore
Most of us are in this boat! Consider EVERYONE that makes up your audience and make sure you address the different needs & interests of each audience type. The motivations & problems faced by your audience might vary a lot! So make sure you acknowledge that through your content strategy. Your content should be a beautiful patchwork of different messages, different formats, and always - creative delivery. We don’t want the same old posts all the time! Mix it up and try and have fun with it! . . . . . . . . #contentstrategist #brandmarketing #brandstrategist #marketingstrategist #creativemarketing by @studioluxmore
Love it or hate it, social media is still something a lot of us still need to engage with for work. So why are some people getting a lot more traction than others? There’s a few key trends to be aware of, like mixing a bit more personal content with your professional, letting us know what your values are, and seeing the REAL you, not the glossy photoshopped version. We all still need to show up here, so let’s work out own original ways to stand out while still being ourselves. Is this making sense? . . . . . . #brandmarketing #contentstrategytips #contentstrategist #marketingstrategist #brandstrategist by @studioluxmore
There will always be times when you are pulled in many directions as a small business - and we are all pretty used to managing it. Sometimes it’s harder to work out what to prioritise like when its work vs home/outside life that are both needing you at the same time? Being honest and asking for help are two ways to make a situation better as @studioluxmore and I agreed. What do you do - have you got a work life balance or is it more of a precarious pile of constantly slipping items… Let us know!! by @studioluxmore
I hate seeing anyone waste time on social content that doesn’t resonate! Make sure you know *exactly* who your audience is, their motivations, pain points, challenges, social media habits - the list is long & we want as much detail as possible please…as well as your own goals, key messages, position, USP, values, style, tone of voice and competitor analysis. Having this in place makes your marketing strategy, effective & consistent. When budgets are tight you CAN create a strategy yourself or get in touch if you’d like help with that 👍 . . . . . . #brandmarketing #marketingstrategist #brandstrategist #contentstrategist strategyfirst by @studioluxmore
How do you know if everything you know (and assume) about your audience is correct? Ask them!!! This is something we all need to be doing all the time! Whether you’re just starting out or have been here a while and want to sense check you’re getting it right. Find out everything you can about them & their world: 🔦Where they spend time on and off line 📚What papers, magazines or websites they read, eg if they’re not on instagram, do not focus your efforts there. 🌋What challenges they face 🚧What’s causing these challenges 🧗‍♀️How those challenges affect their emotions and behaviour 🏆This is all GOLD + crucial in making your marketing RESONATE with those you’re trying to reach 🪄🪄🪄 So think about how you can start asking your audience about themselves. If you need help with this, as always, get in touch, I’d love to help you do this! . . . . . . . #brandmarketing #brandstrategist #marketingstrategist #audienceengagement #audiencegrowth by @studioluxmore
