Our High Lady herself!! Seems like she’s a fan of our Velaris sweatshirt and Illyrian Warrior Training Club sweatshirt 🙊🙊🙊

❌ No AI was used in the drawing of this action figure doll!

✨ In anticipation of #ACOTEN, today’s ‘character’ is a little bit different… because it’s @sarahjmaas herself!! It’s crazy how someone you’ve never even met has been able to have such a huge impact on your life, all through beautiful words on a page 📕 I’m sure she’s affected many of you in a really positive way too 🩷

ACOTAR is so special to me, and I’ll never forget the way it made me feel when I read it for the first time. I had been going through a rough patch, especially with things in the film industry and had lost all passion for portraying ‘characters’ (yep, aside from drawing these silly little doodles, I’m an actor first and foremost!) and the character of Feyre helped me find myself again and reignite that spark.

But enough about me. Let’s all take a moment to recognise the amazing woman behind our fave stories… and to mourn the fact that we will probably never know what Lorcan did 🥲😆

Welcome, new friends 👋 If you’re here from one of the SJM groups on FB - a very special welcome to you, and thanks for following! I hope I can continue to make you smile with my art - whether it’s my hand drawn stuff or my film acting (though that might not be on this account, but I’ll definitely share it when I’m ready!) I’m here to create real art, because screw AI 😁🫶🧚‍♀️

Stay tuned for plenty more SJM characters! 👀

📚 Haven’t posted one of these silly little cartoons in a while, but just had to make one to celebrate the announcement of the next ACOTAR books! Our Mother with new little tid bits we picked up from her on the @callherdaddy podcast 🙊🩷

Swipe to see the last one I did!

✨ Rhys has been with our girl from the very beginning 🤍 One of my newest simple animations with a song that is so Feysand-coded that it goes right through to my soul 🥹

Felt bookish, might delete later, idk 🤷‍♀️

True reason is that I don’t have anything new to post, but hoping to release some new art next week - hopefully some more goodies for @feysandmonth 😍

✍️ The use of AI ‘art’ (aka slop, theft, trash, cheating) has gotten completely out of hand. The fact that people think that the ACOTAR movie would work best if fully animated using ‘AI’ because that would ‘best capture the characters’ is absolutely wild, and so effed up.

Authors are artists too, and it’s nice to see so many authors taking a stand against AI and are commissioning real artists to bring their characters to life 🩷

✨ “If he was the sweet, terrifying darkness, I was the glittering light only his shadows could make clear.”

I’ve wanted to draw a Starfall Feysand for so long, and I’m really happy I finally got to do so!

Also… my husband said he always imagined Rhys with a bit more ‘cake’, so swipe to see a saucy surprise 🤣🤣🤣 Which Rhys do you prefer - cake or no cake? 🫠🤣

🥀🖤 Meanwhile, back at Grimm Manor…

A little tribute to one of my fave book couples - Ophelia and Blackwell from Phantasma by the wonderful @kaylsmoon (and my first time doing some VERY basic bish animation 😅)

Phantasma is truly one of my fave books and I can remember all the feelings that I felt when first reading it! So here’s a little illustration of what I imagine Ophie and Blackwell were up to while Genevieve was on her own adventure over at Enchantra 😉

Finally getting to share this piece of Feyre, and it means everything to me. I put my whole heart, soul and my whole essence into this piece, as Feyre’s story is so special and I wanted to capture her perfectly. It’s a part of a secret project that I’m working on (more will be revealed soon 🤐), but I hope you enjoy this sneak peak!

Also, here’s to non-AI ACOTAR art, AND not having Feyre looking like a fake 35-year-old Instagram model 🥴😆

🐉 Who do you think Manon is having a milkshake date with? 😆 I’ll post the full illustration soon and you’ll find out - but leave your guesses 🙊

🎨 I’m currently working on two BIG passion projects, and here is a sneak peak of an illustration from one of them 🥹 So much emotion went into this piece - something that AI could NEVER do.

I hope you like it! 🩵
