Some days, the light does all the work before we even lift the camera. 📷 🎞️ This is probably our favorite SF City Hall outfit this year, where our bride wisely chose a classic @dior suit - the kind that first turned heads in 1947. And it felt like time stood still for a moment.

A table that winds like a river through the forest. 🌿

For this celebration, we let the garden lead: one long serpentine table following the curve of the courtyard, dressed in soft ivory linen, garden-white florals, and the warm glow of string lights overhead. No ballroom, no symmetry — just nature, and a table that brings everyone closer.

The details stayed quiet, but nothing was left to chance: hand-embossed plates, a die-cut rose menu sealed in sage wax, and courses that moved from strawberry & blood orange salad to blackened steelhead trout — finishing with a black sesame wedding cake.

And then, the moment no design could plan for: the bride picked up the microphone, the groom reached for his guitar, and they performed together, seated in a sea of white roses. This is what we mean by tailored to your story — the most beautiful part of a wedding is always the part that‘s unmistakably theirs. 🤍

Proof that all-white florals in a green forest will never go out of style.🤍🌿

Sunlight through the trees, sheer draping floating over a rustic wooden arch, and a winding aisle lined with white roses — from above, the florals curve through the lawn like a river leading straight to “I do.”

And our favorite detail? A seating chart on flowing fabric — “Our Favourite People”— finished with fresh grapes and blooms at its feet. Soft, organic, and quietly romantic in every frame.

Our Maldives wedding is featured in @thewed today 🤍

Over 10,000 white lilies, a mirrored aisle meeting the turquoise horizon, and curved dinner tables flowing across the sand—Shilu & Roger’s celebration was a dream we’ll always hold close.

It was such a joy to plan and style a wedding so personal to them, with the ocean woven into every detail.

We knew this one would ask us to work a little differently. The entire wedding was indoors, with almost no natural light, so we spent quite a bit of time before the day studying the space and thinking about how we wanted to photograph it.

Then we walked in and saw what @theaethra.moments had created for I & D — silver, reflective surfaces, sculptural florals, and these beautiful lines of light running through the tables. It felt somewhere between a wedding reception and an installation, and completely fitting for Iris & David.

Rather than fighting the darkness, we photographed into it. Low light, direct flash, reflections, grain, little pockets of glow. Some of our favorite photographs came from simply letting the darkness be part of them.

A wedding that challenged us in the best way, and one we’re still thinking about.

@cindyzhangmusic sang her own song at her own wedding, guitar in hand, as the last of the early fall light started to leave the Carmel coast.

Somewhere between that, the veil catching the ocean wind, and a sunset that seemed to stay just a little longer than usual, this day felt entirely her.

And then came the second look — corset, sequins, red lips, and a completely different energy for the night.

Some places become part of your relationship before you ever realize it. For M&R, this neighborhood wasn’t chosen because it looked beautiful. It was where they spent countless afternoons together—the grocery store, the sidewalks, the familiar streets they’d walked so many times before.

M has been collecting vintage clothing for years, so every piece she wore felt like an extension of who she already is, not something chosen just for photos.
That’s always our favorite kind of engagement session. Less about finding a perfect backdrop, more about documenting a version of your life that already exists.

We can’t wait to see where their story goes next this October.
