It’s been a week now since our designers have left us! We just wanted to say how thankful we were to meet these three brilliant designers through the first CDNA x @studiosmithfield residency. It’s been a real pleasure to welcome Solome (@xufan_wear), Chido (@patch_maoko_ezim) and Bettydora (@atienostudio) to London and we loved seeing Smithy’s used as a space for experimentation, exchange and collaboration. It’s been a big team effort shaping this residency and it couldn’t have been done without @britisharts and @paulsmithsfoundation by @studiosmithfield

Presenting Dinner Series, a fashion film by Renata Brenha, currently a member of Cohort 2 on The Fashion Residency. 🍽️ Directed by Ruby Harris and shot by Warren Rodricks, Dinner Series unfolds through the quiet anticipation of a shared gathering, where dressing, cooking, movement and conversation become part of the intimate domestic rhythm. Meet Adam Andrascik, Co-Founder and CEO of Provineer & Course Leader of MA Fashion: Digital Futures at Ravensbourne. Adam is a personal mentor on the programme, offering specialist advice and checking in regularly on the resident’s progress during their 18 month residency at @studiosmithfield. Previously paired with Paolina Russo from Cohort 1, Adam is now assigned to Petra Fagerstrom, and most recently visited Ravensbourne to develop textiles ahead of Petra’s next collection, at a fraction of the cost.
