In honour of Women's Day we believe every woman deserves a throne.

Introducing the Studio Stirling Footstool, the newest addition to our handcrafted steel family, and the perfect companion to our iconic Nest Egg chair.

Already in its first space and already at home there.

Designed for the woman who has always known her own mind, whether she's six or sixty.

The Footstool carries the same detail as the Nest Egg, the same handcrafted steel construction, and the same feeling that a room is not quite complete without it. by @studiostirling

Balancing lines & curves, dark with light & concrete with green spaces. Mixing the hard with the soft. The ultimate blend.

We just got back from Riyadh and we’re still thinking about it.

The Studio Stirling team attended FutureScape Global in June, showing our chairs to the developers, architects, designers and engineers shaping what Saudi Arabia is building next. The conversations were real, the interest was serious and the welcome was genuine.

It is a business culture rich in connection, where trust is earned over time. For a studio that has always believed the best relationships are built slowly, it felt like the right room to be in.

Nearly two decades. Hundreds of spaces. One studio in Johannesburg that started it all.

The original hanging chair was always going to find its way around the world.

There is one original and you're looking at it.

Every Studio Stirling chair is handcrafted from steel in our factory in Heidelberg. Made by hand, built to last and designed to stop a room in its tracks.

Our chairs are designed for luxury hospitality, residential, and wellness environments - places where nature and craftsmanship come together.

What sets us apart is the combination of design, handmade craftsmanship and engineering robustness.Every piece is built using A-grade materials, engineered for strength and longevity to withstand harsh climates.

We’re not a typical factory. Each chair is handmade, finished by artisans which means superior quality and a soulfulness not found in mass production.

Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 emphasises wellbeing, sustainability, iconic aesthetics, and high-value development - our pieces are created with precisely those values in mind, bringing serenity, peace and calm into luxurious modern settings. by @studiostirling
