Ryan here!👋🏻

I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. with @weddingpro to advocate for small businesses and the wedding industry!!

While I was there, I personally met with the oftice of 7 U.S. Senators and 3 U.S. Representatives, including 4 from Minnesota. Alongside other wedding professionals, we had conversations about issues that directly impact businesses like Studio Veil.

Running a wedding business means so much more than showing up on a wedding day. There are photographers, videographers, DJs, planners, venues, florists, caterers, and countless other small businesses behind this industry, and it was pretty incredible to have the opportunity to help represent them in D.C.

Outside of the meetings, I definitely had to take in the experience... from touring the U.S. Capitol, seeing Alexander Hamilton’s actual signature on the Constitution, riding the underground Capiton train, reconnecting with some old friends, and meeting some amazing wedding professionals from around the country!

A huge thank you to @weddingpro and everyone who helped make this trip possible. I’m grateful I had the chance to represent Studio Veil, Minnesota small businesses, and an industry I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of for so many years.
