Every autumn we fall in love with branches that are brimming with the last fruits of the season. Our favorite are the branches that bend with quince fruits. Their scent, shape and color remind us of the autumn sun and its particular hue and of lighter moments before we turn to winter.

Our house salad, bursting with a beautiful compilation of seasonal ingredients - figs, cavolo nero, mizuna, red onions, ricotta & honey roasted walnuts, topped with a sherry vinaigrette. Enjoy it with our housemade sesame focaccia.

August with its painterly light and cold tinted wind, the perfect month to celebrate the harvest, enjoy food, and the creation of beautiful objects amongst friends - Chef Claudia Pauli and Ceramic Artist Haruka Ono.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to admire Haruka’s creations and to taste the subtle and welcoming dishes made by Claudia, alongside the hardest working and most fabulous team of studio x kitchen.

Thank you @claudiapoli @ringadingitsling @lilokendik @zuzizuum @marinamorenah2o @malika.mw for making the pop up feel like a smooth dip in the ocean, to @haruka.o_ for her inspiring ceramics, to @ss_nanako77 for capturing everything so beautifully via her lens and to @natoora_dk and all the local farmers for the beautiful produce. We are delighted to be joined by Claudia Poli to celebrate the August Harvest on Thursday, July 13th between 8:30 and 15:00. We first became friends with Claudia when she paid us a visit carrying her fragrant, produce topped, magical basket. Over the past few months, we have come to deeply appreciate our shared love for seasonal produce, simple ingredients and dishes that taste like grandmothers and childhood.

For one day, on Thursday, August 13th, we will create something new with Claudia, a menu in the spirit of studio x kitchen, combined with Claudia’s energizing understanding of cooking. The amazing studio x kitchen chef team of @ringadingitsling @lilokendik @zuzizuum will be serving the August Harvest menu alongside @claudiapoli

Haruka Ono
Ceramic Artist

Sometimes life offers graceful moments of human connection, beautiful beginnings, middles and ends that create imaginary heart shapes on repeat. Haruka Ono, is one of those looping hearts, a beautiful soul formerly part of the studio x kitchen team, now working as a ceramic artist connected between Denmark and Japan.

For her exhibition at studio x kitchen, Haruka presents works explored and produced during a residency at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center, where she has focused on researching Barselspotte or Maternity Pots, a traditional Danish ceramic jar with a lid and a handle historically used to bring nourishing food to a new mother after childbirth.

All pieces will be available for purchase between Wednesday, August 5th and Sunday, August 16th.

Haruka Ono @haruka.o_ is a ceramic artist from Tokyo, based between Japan and Denmark. She studied ceramics on the island of Bornholm, where her practice was shaped by the natural world — forests, beaches, and the quiet rhythms of Scandinavian life.

Most recently, she completed a residency at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center, where she dedicated herself to researching and making the Barselspotte, a traditional Danish handled pot.

This exhibition brings together a selection of Barselspotte alongside everyday vessels that reflect the traditional ways of living she has encountered in both Japan and Denmark.

Created for @3daysofdesign, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the role of “te-ma”—moments when the hand connects with an object through care and devotion—in daily life. Featuring KINTO’s new collections: MUI tableware and FUTO textiles.
