my first ever hand-knit dress; i am so in love with her!! the shape is inspired by both kaftans and mumus. she's just the garter stitch knitted flat on 8.00mm circular needles, with the neckline casted off them re-casted on, single crocheted together sides, and some final crochet scalloped edging done with a 5.5mm hook.
made out of a mix of both acrylic & cotton yarns, all second hand scraps. the variegated textured bits are vintage yarnbee skeins from an estate sale. this piece is made to be worn with a slip dress underneath, but could also be used as a swimsuit cover up or poncho ;3
COMMISSIONS: prices may vary if a specific fiber content that i don't already own is requested, but in general the starting price is $60. i try my best to keep my prices accessible by mainly using second hand yarns!

seven batts that i blended yesterday to make a rainbow. each color is white merino wool + three differing shades of felting wool that i reclaimed from an old felting kit. they kind of look like candy! i have no clue what i'm going to knit up with all of this after it's spun, but i think that's half of the excitement.

"sedimentary" - my knit/crochet hybrid skirt is finally off the needles & hook! made completely of secondhand scrap yarns held double, worked on 6.00mm needles, inspired by the sedimentary rocks visible all over texas. in elementary school i was strangely obsessed with collecting small stones with visible layers in them, and now i get to wear a piece derived from that natural beauty.
this specific skirt is nfs, but skirt commissions are always open, just DM me!

i'm ecstatic about all this second hand yarn!! mainly naturals fibers; wool, cotton, & silk + 4 vintage skeins of 'bernat sweety' blended mohair.
i definitely plan on using the pile of warm tones to knit a sappho inspired skirt, and i think i will use the cool tones to knit up a skirt inspired by the moonlight shimmering on the ocean's surface :3

{My New Guide Canes}
i finally got around to taking pictures & videos of my two new customized guide canes that i bought from @tinathebusybee through etsy!
they're both 58 inches in length when unfolded. the pink cane is UV reactive and changes shades of pinks + purples. the red cane has a continuous spider print + a black holographic bottom section.
now, depending on my outfit & mood, i can effortlessly switch my canes from a soft pink to a spider-man aesthetic. i'll definitely be ordering from this shop again in the future & recommending it to every visually impaired person i encounter!!

i went to @sparepartssa for the first time all year and had an absolute blast!! still in awe that all of this was only $44 :0 i adore the staff here and always leave this shop so happy :)

just of photo dump of some of my wips taking up my bed. the longer that i am unmedicated, the more yarn i wake up under.
in order: royal blue knit scarf for my friend julian, knit tiered skirt inspired by sedimentary rock, & a crochet sappho skirt that's ended up more tutu-like than intended.
