This collection explores nostalgia through the uncertainty of memory. Inspired by the difficulty of recalling specific moments, it reflects how memories fade, shift, and become distorted over time. Rather than illustrating nostalgia directly, the collection uses fragmented forms and recurring elements to recreate the way memory behaves. Across five ready-to-wear looks, shared silhouettes, colours, and structural gestures return in altered ways, reflecting how the same memory can change each time it is remembered. These garments mirror the fragmented nature of memory, capturing something familiar yet never entirely the same.

The concept of “Longing for something that’s never been” lives in wearable, accessible garments, because memory is not an abstract experience. It is something every person carries in their body every day.

Each garment shares elements with the others, the same silhouette logic, the same colour register, the same structural gestures but no two are identical. This collection is not a single memory. It is the same memory recalled five times. by @studioyanakrastev
