Do not fall into the “role model essay” trap!!!

When writing about a mentor or inspirational person, keep it short and relate it back to you for YOUR college essays!!!

If you keep the focus on the role model, admission officers will learn more about them rather than you

IF that were actually something said by a friend, that would NOT be cool!

I know college apps can feel very stressful, sometimes it feels like your entire future depends on what college you go to. But that really isn’t the case!

Successful people can be successful anywhere.

Please be kind to yourself throughout this college app process. Stop comparing yourself to others. KNOW YOUR WORTH and know that your unique story is something only YOU can tell that no one else can take away from you!
