New(ish) work with @14thandmarket. Design, branding, and motion for The 2nd Annual Plug Awards. Worked closely with @forever.icylin to develop this year's branding and expanded the creative assets based on that.

Was able to design and animate a motion graphics package for Sole Stories, a short film series highlighting the stories behind peoples' favorite sneakers.

Really leaned into the old-school sneakerhead culture - the moment of seeing your favorite shoe in a store catalog. Lots of jagged edges, handwritten elements, and rough texture. So many textures. Essentially, staying away from polish/smoothness and instead elevating the grit of this subculture. Full breakdown on my website (Link in Bio)

A SPARK 2023 Recap vid... even though it's 2024 😂

Short vid highlighting some of the accomplishments SPARK had in 2023. Really cool designing and animating something outside of my normal style, but love how it came out.

New stuff - a lil motion piece announcing SPARK's partnership with Visit Baltimore.

Got to use some of my favorite things on this: noise, collage, and posterize time. Not only did this collage-style parallel Visit Baltimore's branding, but it also helped to showcase the photos taken during SPARK's journey to landing this client.

Happy Juneteenth!

Created a little looping gif to celebrate this important day. In this project, I explored different types of animations and designs. Each style is different but is inspired by the past and the present.

The first style, the collage, incorporates historical imagery. Utilizes a more handcrafted/stop-motion approach.

The second style focuses on the use of patterns. Inspired by African print, and bright, geometric typography.

The third is the most modern, imo. The most fluid. It's the one I experimented the most with and includes lots of layered movement/effects (from displacement maps to distortions, to glow).
