if you love a good italian sandwich, you need to check out bello! they use quality ingredients, freshly made focaccia bread, and hand-cut meats to make their sandwiches fresh daily.

we tried their caprese and burrata sandwiches, and both were so good! the focaccia was super soft and fluffy and all the ingredients tasted so fresh. both sandwiches were very flavourful and we loved how well everything went together without being too heavy. you could really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite!

the portions were also super satisfying, making it a great spot to grab a delicious sandwich for lunch. definitely worth checking out if you’re craving a good italian sandwich! taken in Toronto, Canada by @stuffedbitess

if you love noodles, you need to check out kajiken! this michelin guide-recommended spot is known for its abura soba, and they’ve just opened their second location in toronto.

unlike your usual ramen, abura soba is served without broth. instead, their homemade noodles are coated in a rich, savoury sauce and topped with a variety of ingredients. they have so many different bowls to choose from, depending on what you’re craving.

there’s usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly. definitely worth checking out if you haven’t tried abura soba before!

if you’re looking for your next date night or dinner with the girls, vivo pizza + pasta is such a cute spot to check out! the space is beautiful, the atmosphere feels elevated, and the prices are amazing too.

they have everything from pizza and pasta to appetizers, cocktails and dessert, so there’s something for everyone. everything tasted super fresh and delicious, and you can even watch the pizzas being made and baked right in their oven. there are so many dishes to share, which makes it perfect for trying a little bit of everything.

we also got the 47 cocktail that has limoncello, prosecco, limonata and fresh mint, plus a refreshing deia spritz mocktail that has berries. both were light and refreshing and paired so well with the meal.

and of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert! the tiramisu was super rich and creamy, and a latte was the perfect pairing to end the meal.

things are heating up in the hot pot 🌶️

if you love bold, spicy flavours, hi bowl has a new dish you need to try!

their new mala xiang guo (spicy mala stir fry) is fully customizable with your favourite ingredients stir-fried in a fragrant mala seasoning that’s rich, savoury, and has just the right amount of spice. we also got a bowl with the sukiyaki soup base, which was such a nice contrast to the stir fry. everything tasted super fresh, there were so many ingredients to choose from, and we loved being able to customize both bowls exactly how we wanted.

plus, for a limited time, you’ll get a free passion fruit yuzu or sour plum drink with any $30 spend, which pairs perfectly with these bowls.

definitely check it out if you’re ready to spice things up!

have you seen those viral sushi push pops everywhere? omai rice bar has officially added them to the menu, with both japanese sushi and korean kimbap push pop options.

we tried the salmon avocado roll and korean bbq beef roll, and loved how fresh, flavourful and delicious they both were.

they’ve been serving fresh, high-quality sushi for almost 10 years, and this new menu item is such a fun twist. made with premium ingredients, they’re packed with flavour and surprisingly convenient to eat on the go.

definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already!

this meal was un-burger-lievable 🍔

did someone say smash burgers and breaded chicken burgers? we tried the purist and the original chicken burger, both of which were so satisfying and really hit the spot. we also got the stern hot dog, loaded with onions, cheese, and a secret sauce that was so good.

the milkshakes paired well with the burgers, especially the creamy vanilla and the holy trinity (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla). of course, we had to end things on a sweet note with their soft and gooey chocolate chip cookie.

olive garden finally opened up at vaughan mills 🍝

we are so excited that we no longer have to drive to the states to get our fix! from their unlimited soup or salad and, of course, the iconic breadsticks. the pasta was hearty and super filling, making it the perfect meal when you’re craving some comfort food. safe to say, we’ll definitely be back for those endless breadstick! taken in Olive Garden by @stuffedbitess

nothing beats affordable comfort food! yin ji chang fen has locations all across the gta and is known for its silky rice noodle rolls and comforting congee. with a wide variety of options, most dishes are under $10, making it an easy go-to for a delicious meal. they also serve cantonese dim sum, noodle dishes, and more. on top of that, their signature hong kong-style milk tea paired perfectly with everything we ordered. definitely check this spot out if you haven’t already!
