Rylee Sloane is finally here as of 7/7/25 and I couldn’t be more excited 🥹 How lucky am I to have a front row seat to your life from day one! 💕 I love you so much already and can’t wait for all the fun we’re going to have together. Everyone always dreads birthdays and complains about getting old. They’ll throw around the word “grateful” but then spit on the concept of age. If your body hurts or you’re not where you want to be in life, it’s probably your own fault, stop blaming a stupid number. Every day really is a gift and birthdays are the reminder to celebrate. I wish more people would remember that and often.

Jenn is my oldest friend, more like family. We didn’t need to talk constantly but we never skipped a beat. I should have called and visited her much more. A lot of that is on me and I accept it. Another difficult lesson learned. We really do just take the most important things for granted.

I assumed we’d get old and reminisce about being kids. We’d joke about school teachers and crushes we had, the adoption group and choir. I’d be at your son’s wedding and you both would be at mine. There are inside jokes that only you could laugh at, there are experiences in my life that only you understood, and there are gaps in my childhood memories that only you remembered and will never remind me of. I miss you and I love you.
