Pre-Judging Individual posing routine 7/13/24

Feeling extremely grateful for this opportunity. Surprisingly, I had no nerves stepping on to the stage. I actually had more nerves going to the tanning because it was first impression of summer shredding and the other competitors.

Although there are some things I would improve on here looking back on show day through this video, I felt very confident stepping on stage. I felt the sense of “I was meant to be here.

July 13th, 2024 | Men’s Physique | Class C | 4th in Class | Summer Shredding | Houston, Texas

Wow where do I even start. This has to be one of the most challenging, humbling, and eye opening experiences I’ve ever been through. I always struggled being the skinny fat bitch who just wanted to put on some size and stay relatively lean.

I chose to compete for the prep, for the journey, for me. I dedicated my Men’s Physique prep to me. I’ve grown more in these last 3 months than I have throughout my entire 20s. There were many days I would get into my head thinking I wasn’t good enough, or I was too small, but if it hadn’t been for the support of everyone around me, I couldn’t have pushed through. I know we hear that a lot, but everyone’s support was my fuel to the finish line, and through the grace of God.

A terrible sunburn, a crazy schedule, dog sitting, stranded at the lake one day, a hurricane, we still checked off our boxes every single day in prep.

I wouldn’t be here without @coach_jdabney who’s been my coach for the last 2 1/2 years. He has truly transformed my physique and fitness journey in a short amount of time.

To hear from one of the judges on my feedback that my posing was solid, would not have been possible without my posing coach @cb317fitness , who taught me so much about the art of posing in a short amount of time.

I heavily thank my mom and dad, who witnessed my entire prep and supported me on the toughest of days, and I deeply thank Michael, Gabby, Don, and my mom who came out to Texas and supported me at my first show, and helped me through some of the darkest days of prep and peak week. I love you guys tremendously.

Everyone at F45 Sherman Oaks & Calabasas who’s supported me every day, every shift, every class, you guys also kept me going.

Thank you family, friends, and strangers for being so supportive. I love this sport, and without a question you will see me step on stage again. It’s time to head back into off season, grow, and step on stage again bringing an even better package from a better prep.

Angie (YAYA) Obradors | 08/24/29 - 09/11/26 🕊️

The strongest woman I’ve known in my life. A mother, grandmother, wife, friend, the list goes on.

You helped raise me, you were my angel on earth, you supported and you prayed for me during every stage of my life.

You were the glue to our family, our shining light. I cannot imagine a world without you and my grief has been the most challenging yet.

I learned from you to use my voice to always stand up for what I believe in and fight for what I deserve. (And that I love attention 🤗).

When I say this woman was bionic I mean she was indestructible: Surviving COVID 2x, losing an eye, tripped, and breast cancer survivor.

I know you will always be near me in spirit.

Fly high in heaven Yaya and tell Papi how much I miss him.
