Stacccs verse on the street classic “Buy A Heart” w/ Grymee and Trae 8, video by renowned Toronto videographer and filmmaker MWorks and released on his YouTube channel in 2015. Repping Dixon/Islington and SOS (Stack or Starve), Stacccs is 1 of the most talented emcees of the mid-YouTube era and has developed a genuine fanbase allowing continued success in the streaming era. Known for his intricate flows, word-play, and hitmaking ability, he has had a big impact on the scene since he jumped in the game. Like many of his generation, he grew up watching Rapsheet and TheRealToronto DVDs and listening to legendary Toronto artists like Sam G and G-Lock, and he credits it with influencing his bar-heavy style. Stacccs has been recording music since he was 10-11 years old, but his career really took off around 2015, and his biggest hit “Whippin and Shocking” being released in 2017, which has amassed millions of views on streaming sites. His catalogue is deep, with his mixtapes “STA” and “STA 2: Diamond in the Dirt” being released in 2021 and 2023 respectively. The latter title is definitely appropriate, as an artist that deserves recognition for his talent. We look forward to new music from Stacccs and salute him for his major contribution to the game #stacccs #dixon #6barstv by @stvcccs
