No matching set is safe around me 😂 You know the drill: wear together for a bold statement or mix and match with other casual pieces in your closet. Maximum impact, minimal effort! What’s not to love?! 🖤⚡️

I plan to style this embellished top over a long-sleeved black and white striped blouse and wide leg denim and the skirt with a black tank and leather blazer for future looks. The consistent accessory is always a pop of animal print 🐆😉

Burgundy has always been synonymous with Fall. The “social butterfly” of the season, it’s the warm, approachable color that gets along with everyone! Pair with chocolate brown (obviously), black, camel or navy. I also love how it charismatically pairs with pink for a modern take this season!
While not as bold as its cousin cherry red, it can also be a subtle pop of color to add interest to an outfit.

A color combo I’m loving for Fall is chocolate brown paired with a soft blue:
🤎 A brown and white striped button down paired with denim
🩵 A chocolate suede peplum jacket worn with indigo denim
🤎 A blue suede statement jacket with chocolate brown leather details
🩵 Chocolate brown leather pants paired with a blue/brown tweed jacket

Off the Cuff 👖
A styling trick I’m loving for Fall is cuffed denim…especially with the dark indigo wash! There’s just something about the contrast at the hem that creates interest with any outfit.

Would this denim/tee/jacket look work without the cuff? Of course. But why not add that extra styling element?!
There are several styles that come “pre-cuffed” but you can definitely self cuff your denim to fit your height and shoe choice. I’m loving this @slvrlake.denim indigo denim from @lilliealexander.winterfield and even the cute jacket paired with it! 💙🩵

It’s officially Fall! In preparation of a new (and the best!) season, swipe for six ways to update your wardrobe that don’t require a ton of effort:
🍁 Belts: add texture or color to any look. I am currently loving the medallion belt, a pop of red or a croc texture
🍁 Tweed: either in a neutral or a statement making pattern; the added layer that creates interest
🍁 Luxe leather: opt for a bomber, funnel neck or a rich hue like burgundy or chocolate brown
🍁 Chocolate suede: add a loafer, ballet flat or bag in this delicious fabric
🍁 Indigo denim: pair with a cropped trench, tweed jacket or even a feminine blouse
🍁 Color pop knit: add dimension to any look with a knit in a bold color like purple, cobalt or red. Tie around your shoulders or even your waist

So many of us “panic shop” when we enter a new season. We expect temps to change overnight and we purchase pieces that will not get a lot of use. Here are my three tips to shop efficiently for Fall:
- Take inventory of what you you have from last year. Can you style it with a newer trend to make it feel fresh?
- Choose a color palette; it will prevent you from buying random pieces that don’t go with anything and that will ultimately go unworn. I am currently loving my signature black and white with a pop of red or animal print!
- Be realistic about where you are going and the dress code. Do you need more casual pieces or dressier items? Flat shoes or heels? More work to weekend looks?
