I think one of the hardest parts of getting older isn’t the wrinkles, the grey hairs or the changes in our bodies.

It’s looking in the mirror sometimes and wondering where that woman you used to be has gone.

Between motherhood, responsibilities, everyday routines and trying to keep everything together, it’s so easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

And before we know it, we stop making an effort. Not because we don’t care, but because somewhere along the way, we forgot about ourselves.

I’ve come to realise that I don’t want to be the woman I was at 25 or 30. I just don’t want to lose myself in the process of becoming who I am today.

And sometimes, something as simple as getting dressed, doing my hair or wearing an outfit that makes me feel beautiful is a little reminder that I’m still here. ❤️

Not trying to look younger. Just wanting to feel like ME.

Good food, delicious cocktails and the loveliest atmosphere! 😍

I recently visited @thetealmonkey and what a lovely experience it was! From the beautiful interiors to the incredible selection of tapas, every little detail made our visit special.

And can we talk about the cocktails? 🍹 So good!

If you’re looking for somewhere lovely to eat, drink and enjoy good company in Belfast, I’d definitely recommend adding this one to your list!
