BIG SKY LONG WEEKEND ITINERARY!

I’ve been going out to Big Sky with friends for a few summers now and wanted to share a full proof itinerary!

Travel:
Bozeman Airport: many direct flights from U.S. cities, 1 hour drive to Big Sky - cute town to explore if you fly in/out of here

Yellowstone Airport: small airport with a few local flights, 1 hour from Big Sky

Lodging:
The Montage: close to town center and a true Luxury Montana feel @montagebigsky

The One and Only: truly set in nature, the most high end! @oomoonlightbasin

The Summit Hotel: at the base of the mountain, a nice lesser expensive route

Renting a home: my recommendation! It’s fun to be able to watch movies or play games at night and cook if desired!

Activities:
Hiking: Lava Lake (you can swim at the top!), Beehive Basin, Ousel Falls, Storm Castle Peak

Fly Fishing: Walk and Wade or Float - I recommend using Wild Trout Outfitters! @wildtroutoutfitters

Horseback Riding: Take a trail ride through the Montana country side - I loved my time at Jake’s Horses!

Restaurants Big Sky:
Grand and Go:
Blue Moon Bakery - great sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch! Good pizzas too!

Lunch:
Pinky G’s Pizza & Blindside Burger Bar

Dinner:
Horn and Cantle at Lone Mountain Ranch, Akira Back at The One and Only, Riverhouse BBQ @riverhouse_bbq_events , Ousel and Spur, Cortina at The Montage

Coffee:
Cowboy Coffee Co - such fun lattes! @cowboycoffeeco

Downtown Bozeman:
Eat:
Breakfast: Storm Castle & Jam!

Lunch: Ted’s Montana Grill & Revelry

Coffee: Ghost Town Coffee Co. @ghosttowncoffee & Rowan Coffee Roasters @rowan.coffee.roasters

Shopping: Crossbow @crossbowleather (they do custom hats and belts!), Heyday, Meridian Boutique

Fun Events:
@bigskypbr - such a fun rodeo that comes to town in July!
@wildlandsmusic - music festival in downtown Big Sky in August
