💯 We don’t miss flying in the ’90s. We miss the fits.

Back when airport style wasn’t content, just getting dressed like you had somewhere to be after you landed.
Relaxed denim, real shoes, a jacket, and zero concern for optimizing an outfit.

Nonchalant will always age better than pajamas.

In the fall, you can keep it simple with a denim jacket and a pair of chinos and call it a day. But it’s the extra accessories and the way you wear those pieces that can make you stand out a little more, even if it’s not immediately noticeable.

While I don’t believe in overhauling your wardrobe every season, there are always ways to expand it, especially for a season as fun as fall.

I have a few gaps in mine that I’m looking to fill. Will I check everything off my list? Maybe not, but a man can dream. 😅

11 days in Italy, countless miles walked, and a few essentials that made the trip a whole lot easier. 🇮🇹

Between exploring Rome, enjoying the beautiful Amalfi Coast, and spending time with family in Bari, these were some of the things I found myself reaching for every single day.

Some kept me comfortable, others kept me organized, and a few just helped me look good along the way.

After a few weeks away, we’re back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I traveled to Italy—Rome, Positano, Pompeii, Bari, and back to Rome again—and had an incredible time meeting family, exploring the country and enjoying some amazing food.

I had planned to film outfit content while there. I even took my camera with me. I figured, why not spice things up a little, right?

But while I took a few outfit photos, I never intentionally filmed any content for this page while abroad.

I did something rare for myself instead, which was staying present in the moment. I’ve long looked ahead to what’s next and not just soak in what was in front of me. It helped me enjoy this amazing experience, and I wouldn’t have handled it differently. It was nice to not care about engagement and my follower count and just appreciate my surroundings.

Don’t get me wrong, I still rocked some great fits, in my opinion 😅 but I never felt the need to document them exclusively for my page.

However, time away also freshened my desire to keep positing here, even if the results haven’t gone my way after a year. I do enjoy this, so I’ll continue posting while enjoying the great community we have here.

Anyway, I had the honor of being the godfather to my niece today, with this fit. It was a special day and I felt great wearing this!

We’re back to 85 degrees again on Long Island, which means summer fits live to fight another day before I travel to Italy next week.

Since this shirt’s length is long, I’ve unbuttoned the bottom button to create a more comfortable, relaxed feel and a better drape.
