There’s really no limit to what you can create with fashion and Yetunde’s second traditional engagement look was such a fun way for us to explore that.

Yetunde has a very distinct taste, so when she and her stylist, @maeynuptials came to us with their inspiration, we knew we could do something special with it.

We drew inspiration from Romeo & Juliet graphic, incorporating the imagery of Juliet being given her flowers into the design. We brought the concept to life through hand-painted details and intricate beadwork, making her love story part of what she wore for her engagement.

And this is exactly what makes creating custom looks so special. You get to wear something that’s not just beautiful, but means something to you.

We loved every bit of creating this masterpiece! 🤎

One of our favourite things about this dress was how clean the base was. The fit, the structure, the finish. And we were only just getting started. ✨

The experience of creating with STYLEDBYLAYO ✨

When Dr. Adeola Sanda came to us, she knew she wanted something extraordinary. Not just beautiful dresses, but looks that would make a statement. And that was exactly what we set out to create.

From the initial design conversations to the intricate embellishments, fittings and final touches, we worked closely with her to bring her vision to life.

The result? Two looks that were every bit as bold, striking and unforgettable just as she envisioned
