So this happened ✨

Talking Bob Mackie with @bbcnews News Chief Presenter Steve Lai about a true fashion legend.

From Cher and Tina Turner to Elton John, Barbie, Dolly Parton and RuPaul, Mackie understood that the costume wasn’t just part of the performance. It became part of the character.

He didn’t design clothes that behaved themselves. He gave them a point of view.

Pretty special to be part of this one.

Welcome to the Viva Guest Edit: NZFW, presented by Zeekr. All this week, we’ll be asking leading voices from across NZ fashion to be guest editors on Viva. On Tuesday, stylist @styledbysarahstuart had the honours. Our beauty editor @ash_cometti spoke to Sarah about her style non-negotiables at @nzfashionwk, her fashion inspirations – and the value of having a cute bag. by @styledbysarahstuart

This week I teamed up with @google for the New Zealand launch of Google Try On. ✨ AD

@google brought together New Zealand’s fashion community at Google HQ to experience how technology is helping transform the way we discover and visualise fashion.

Working alongside Carrie from Google, we unpacked the latest fashion trending searches in New Zealand, and explored how Google Try On and Google Lens are taking the guesswork out of online shopping, helping people discover pieces they love and visualise how they’d look before making a purchase.

For the launch, I curated a selection of New Zealand designers inspired by some of the most searched fashion trends on Google. Thank you so much to the incredible New Zealand brands who showcased their pieces and helped bring the experience to life. @adrion_atelier_ @rorywilliamdocherty @jojo.ross @beachbrains @premiumclo_ @max_stylelived @mahydesign @claudialiofficial @carlsonstore @barkersclothing @mi_piaci @the_reine_edit @methelabel by @styledbysarahstuart

To all of the sisters and chosen sisters ✨

An evening of journaling with @journl.co , inspiring conversations and a little reminder to appreciate all the sisters, and chosen sisters, in our lives. ❤️

Celebrating Sisterhood, the beautiful new collection by @zoeandmorgan , inspired by the colours, culture and architecture of Morocco, and the connections between women that make life so special.

A lovely evening and such a beautiful sentiment. Thank you for having me x by @styledbysarahstuart

A little recap of last week, getting to sit on one of the coolest panels with @diggydupe, @rubi_du and @goldtooth, talking all things @clarksoriginals Wallabee and its connection to music, fashion and culture, from Jamaica to Aotearoa and beyond.

A shoe with so much history and a story that goes far beyond footwear. Loved hearing everyone’s perspectives and being part of a conversation that brought together music, fashion and culture in such a good way.

Thank you @patmenziesshoes for having me, @_goldtooth_ for bringing it all together, @schleelee for the soundtrack and @namirecordbar for hosting us in such a special space. Good people, great conversations and a very good night. 🤎 by @styledbysarahstuart

Would you try this nail trend? 👀🐾

I headed to @nailedtime in Newmarket to try a nail trend I’ve been eyeing up. The result? Wait until the end. 🤎 AD

Thirty years after Clueless dreamed up the digital closet, @hemmavara puts today’s AI virtual try-ons to the test. From Alta’s ‘Prettify’ tool to Google’s ‘Try it on’ button, she explores how these apps promise to end decision fatigue and open up fashion advice to everyone.

But can an algorithm ever match a stylists instinct, or capture what it takes to make someone feel incredible?
