Here’s how to break out of “default mode” and build a unique personal style that stands out !!! Break the default styling: Don’t always wear clothes the standard way. For example: Flip your tops backward, try asymmetric buttoning, layer pieces unexpectedly, etc. (I included a big list in the video) Practice “untrending”: When a micro-trend takes over your feed, intentionally wear the opposite. Prioritize your own point-of-view: Style isn’t what you buy; it’s how you wear it. Save this for your next outfit block, and comment below: what’s your favorite way to remix a basic piece?👇🏾 #howtostyle #stylehacks #fashiontips #outfitideas #wardrobestyling by @stylemaxdes

Holiday party outfit ideas that aren’t another black sequin dress! 🎄🥂💅🏾 A few ideas to try to expand your range this holiday season: WORK HOLIDAY PARTY 1️⃣ Statement tights! Think lace, patterned, or colorful tights with a tailored skirt or dress. Professional, but still giving the girls something to talk about 2️⃣ Chunky sweater + statement skirt! Sequins, interesting textures, asymmetrical hems (just keep it HR-friendly) 👀 HOUSE PARTY 3️⃣ Mixed prints! Pair a large-scale print with a smaller one, or choose two prints that share a common color for a more cohesive look 4️⃣ Leather pants or shorts + a statement top. Think sheer fabrics, corsets, or an interesting silhouette HOLIDAY GALA 5️⃣ It’s ALL in the details! Look for dresses with dramatic ruffles, faux-fur trims, fringe, appliqués, or unexpected color combinations. Even a beautiful brooch can completely transform a dress you already have in your closet 📌 SAVE this for your holiday party outfit inspiration, and tell me in the comments: What events are you dressing for this season?
