Why is this so hard for people to understand? It’s called your basal metabolic rate (BMR). For humans, it takes around 2000 calories per day, just to keep you alive. Imagine what a cow requires. It’s a ridiculously inefficient way to feed ourselves and we can no longer afford this luxury. 80% of deforestation is for cattle grazing or crops. The Amazon is burning for hamburgers. Wake up!!!

Bloodroot (Sanguinaria) is an Ontario native that blooms super early, partly because it is one of very few plants that produces flowers BEFORE it produces leaves. Within days of the shoots pushing up out of the soil, these beautiful blooms appear. You’re welcome, bees. 🐝 by @stylesolutionsbykim

Meat, dairy and egg producers are NOT “feeding the world”, as they like to boast. Animal products are, in fact, a colossal waste of food. On average, it requires SIX calories of grain to produce just one calorie of animal protein. There is no other industry as inefficient and unsustainable as animal agriculture. A billion people on this planet are food insecure, so that the wealthiest countries can continue to consume animals and their secretions. by @stylesolutionsbykim

Biodiversity is in free fall. Why is it still legal for big agriculture to request the annihilation of endangered species, often BEFORE they ever come into contact with livestock? Your tax dollars cover the loss of any farmed animal AND loss prevention, in the form of cold-blooded murder. If you don’t agree with hunting wolves and bears, why eat the foods that produce the same result? by @stylesolutionsbykim

Here’s the truth, from the inside. Does this “shock” you? If so, you’ve been listening to the propaganda machine we call the media, for 18 months, instead of watching the videos, listening to the physicians who served in Gaza and paying attention to the ages of the victims (mostly 5-9 yrs. old). You’ve been living your comfy life while others have suffered unimaginable horrors, telling yourself “it’s a religious war”, while a gen0cide is carried out in real time. SHAME on you!!!
