Design a retreat brochure with me for a tarot expert 🔮✨

Here’s the thing most people miss when designing their own materials 👇

They focus on making individual pieces look good
Instead of making sure everything CONNECTS 🔗

A retreat brochure isn’t just “information formatted nicely” 📄

It’s a selling tool 💰 that needs to do three things:

1. Match the vibe of the actual experience 🎯
2. Feel cohesive with your existing brand 💫 (but still stand out)
3. Make someone say “I need to be there” 🙋‍♀️

That’s why I always start with alignment, not aesthetics

@mariellehut and I locked in the feeling FIRST 🔥

Relaxing but sexy. Calming but edgy. Sophisticated luxury ✨ with a twist.

Then we created a mini brand within her brand 🎨 — custom palette, custom fonts, its own identity.

Because this retreat needed to feel like an EXPERIENCE 🌟 not just another offering

The result? A brochure that does the convincing for her 💼

If your marketing materials feel disconnected 🚫 from what you’re actually selling, that’s the first thing to fix 💸

Ever wonder how some brands consistently attract high-paying clients? 💼💸

It’s all about finding your ‘F*ck Yes Tribe’ - those who can’t wait to smash that ‘book now’ button! 🔥👩‍💻 They vibe with your vision, match your rates, and rave about your results. 🙌✨

Ready to draw them in? Let’s activate that attraction spell. 🧙‍♀️📈

you do NOT need a more interesting life to create better brand video!! 📹✨

this was literally just me going to get coffee ☕️😂

but instead of thinking “okay, I need a clip of my coffee,” I thought about the whole tiny story happening around it...

🏠 leaving my apartment
🚶‍♀️ walking there
📍 arriving at the coffee shop
☕️ getting the actual coffee
🏙️ walking back through the city
💻 sitting down to work

none of those things are particularly exciting on their own lol.

but put them together + suddenly “I went to get coffee” has a beginning, middle + end!!

THIS is what I mean when I talk about visual storytelling for your brand 👀

don’t just film the obvious thing!!

film what happens before it.
film what happens after it.
film yourself in the environment.
film the tiny details. 🔎
change up your angles + distances.
get the POV shot AND the wider shot of you actually doing the thing. 📱

now you don’t have 7 random B-roll clips sitting in your camera roll...

you have a little story you can actually use. ✨

and you can do this with literally ANYTHING you’re already doing for your business!!

💻 working at your laptop
📦 packing an order
🚕 heading to a client meeting
🥐 grabbing breakfast
👜 getting ready to leave for the day

you don’t need to invent more interesting things to film.

you just need to get better at noticing all the little moments that are already there + capturing enough of them to tell the story. 🫶

save this for the next time you think your day is “too boring” to film ☕️📹

Creating content is approximately 400% easier when you’re around other people who are also there to create content 😂📱

There’s no awkward “can you take one more?” or trying to explain why you need to walk past the camera for the 4th time.

everyone gets it. everyone needs the footage. everyone is willing to stand in the middle of the sidewalk and do something mildly embarrassing for the shot lol.

and honestly, that’s become one of my favorite things about Content Club.

yes, you leave with a camera roll full of video for your business, but you also get to hand your phone to another business owner who understands what you’re actually trying to make + will tell you “wait, do that again” when they know they can get it better. 📹

it just takes SO much of the pressure off creating content by yourself.

this day was also a bit of a pinch-me moment for me 🥹🇲🇽

Content Club started as this little idea I had in NYC...and suddenly I was. walking around Mexico City scouting locations for the first one outside of New York.

which obviously got me thinking...

what if Mexico City isn’t the only one?? 👀🌎

I would LOVE for Content Club to become something I can bring to different cities, especially if there are already a few business owners there saying “please come here next.”

so tell me!! if you’re a small business owner, entrepreneur or content creator who wants an easier way to actually get video content made...

📍where should Content Club go next?

(and if you’re in NYC, you don’t have to wait for the international version 😂)

And thankfully, “better” doesn’t mean more polished, more expensive or more complicated. 📹

A few things I’ve learned make a MUCH bigger difference:

✨ Film the same moment from multiple angles.
☀️ Find your light before you start recording.
👀 Use what’s already around you to make the frame more interesting.
🎥 Start filming before the obvious moment + keep filming a little after it.
📱 And stop assuming something has to be exciting to be worth filming.

The biggest shift for me was realizing I didn’t need to constantly be doing more interesting things.

I needed to get better at seeing what was already there.

And it turns out, having a few other people around to say “wait, that would be a good shot” makes that a whole lot easier. 😂

Which is basically the whole idea behind Content Club.

We wander around, take turns filming each other + find better ways to capture the things we probably would’ve walked right past.

Very low pressure. Very full camera rolls. 📱✨

If yours could use a little help too, come hang out with us at the next Content Club. by @stylestoryteller

The best part of Content Club might actually be the “can you hold my phone for a second?” energy 😂📱

Because filming content by yourself gets old FAST.

Today was basically a bunch of business owners taking turns being the director, camera person, hype woman, prop holder, creative director and “wait, do that again” person for each other. 😂

And somehow, by the end, everyone leaves with a camera roll full of content that would’ve taken forever to get on their own.

THAT’S the whole reason I started Content Club. 🥹

4 easy brand videos you can film pretty much anywhere 📱

You don’t need a photoshoot, a fancy location, or an exciting day to start building a library of video for your brand.
Here are 4 to add to your camera roll 👇

✍️ JOURNALING

Perfect for content about planning, mindset, ideas, goals, or the behind-the-scenes of your business.

💭 DEEP IN THOUGHT

Yes, literally just stare thoughtfully into the distance 😂 Use it when you’re sharing a realization, opinion, lesson learned, or something a little more personal.
\
☕️ MOCK CLIENT MEETING

Grab a friend, sit across from each other, and film a few seconds of you talking, listening, laughing, or taking notes. Now you have video that actually shows what working with you can feel like.

💻 CLIENT CALL

Prop up your phone before your next Zoom and grab a few clips of yourself talking, listening, or taking notes. Easy.
The goal isn’t to make your business look busier or more exciting than it is.

It’s to have simple, intentional video that helps people picture you doing the work you actually do. 👀

A month ago, I sublet my New York City apartment for the first time and came to Mexico City, where I used to live, to see if I could mix having a home in NYC with a little bit of my old digital nomad life.

And to try something I’ve REALLY wanted to do: take Content Club international.

So far: first NYC sublet, first attempt at part-time digital nomading, and my first Mexico City Content Club.

Apparently my version of trying something new is mixing it with something I already know 😂

I’m very behind on sharing all of this, but there’s a lot more Mexico City coming. by @stylestoryteller

Getting content in New York City just got easier 🌸

I started a content club in NYC so you don’t have to shoot alone 📸

Walked up to strangers taking photos in Central Park and asked if they wanted footage from a pro 🎬

Two said yes. Two sets of content. Zero regrets.

Here’s what I’m realizing about making content as a solopreneur in New York City 👇

You can have the best strategy in the world ✨ but if you’re always shooting alone, you’re gonna talk yourself out of it.

The camera feels weird. The angles feel awkward. You second-guess everything 🚫

But when you’re with OTHER people who are also making content?

Suddenly it’s normal 💡

Suddenly you just DO it instead of overthinking it 🎯

That’s what Corner Content Club is for, getting NYC-based creators out of their heads and into consistent content 📍

If you’re a content creator in New York City and want a community to make content with, comment CONTENT and I’ll send you the details 👇 by @stylestoryteller

POV: your NYC content day didn’t go as planned 🎥

Lost the first location. Pivoted to Bryant Park. Still walked away with 5 videos worth of content for her brand 📍

This is how small business owners in New York City are actually getting better video content without a full production team 🙌

Here’s what most people get wrong about brand video shoots 👇

They think it needs to be perfect to be worth it 🚫

They wait for the “right” location, the “right” lighting, the “right” conditions
Meanwhile, they have ZERO content for their business 💸

The secret? Just show up ✨

That’s what a content day does for you, it removes the paralysis and gets you FILMING 🎬

Want this for your brand? I run content days once a month in NYC. Comment CONTENT for details 💌

Stop looking for the “untapped market” 🚫

Your million dollar idea is probably sitting right in front of you 👀
Here’s what I mean 👇

Saw this mini doc from @businessinsider about @hundredweightice — a bartender who now makes $3M a year selling premium ice to bars 🧊💰

And it completely shifted how I think about “finding your niche”

Most solopreneurs are out here asking: ❌ “What hasn’t been done yet?” ❌ “What’s the gap in the market?” ❌ “What trend should I jump on?”

But that’s the wrong question 🚫

The right question is: “What already exists that I care about more than the average person?” 💭
Because here’s the thing ✨

The bartender didn’t invent ice ❄️ He just looked at something everyone else saw as “done” and thought — I can make this BETTER

That’s the pattern I keep seeing in every successful solopreneur 🔥

They’re not doing something brand new

They’re doing something that already exists — but with MORE intention, MORE care, MORE obsession than anyone else in the room 🎯

Your “million dollar idea” isn’t hiding 👀

It’s the thing you’re already noticing could be improved 📈

It’s the industry standard you keep side-eyeing like “why is everyone okay with this being mid?” 😒

Stop searching for the untapped market. Start paying attention to what you’re already obsessed with ✨

Then ask yourself: how do I level this up in a way only I can? 💡

Who else is cutting through an oversaturated market by just CARING more? Drop examples below 👇 by @stylestoryteller

Ex digital nomad getting back to my roots 🌎✨

I stopped traveling full-time in August 2023 when I moved back to NYC 🗽

Best decision I ever made for my business 💼 but I really miss being on the road

So for my birthday this year? Nicaragua 🇳🇮

Here’s what I’m realizing as I ease back into travel 👇

When you build a business that’s LOCATION-DEPENDENT 📍 (like mine now — rooted in NYC community, in-person shoots, local collaborations) you have to travel differently

It’s not “work from anywhere” anymore

It’s intentional trips 🎯 planned around your business rhythm, not despite it

First stop: Managua overnight 🌙 because I’m heading to a small island tomorrow and didn’t want to risk flight delays messing up my ferry connection

Got a little work done ✨ rested up, and honestly? It feels good to move slow again

Not rushing. Not hustling between time zones. Just... being somewhere else for a minute 💭

Stay tuned for part 2 where I actually make it to the island 🏝️

If you’re a former nomad who’s now location-based 📍 how do you balance the need for roots with the itch to roam? Tell me below 👇
