Style With Karla was built on authenticity. It’s what matters most to me. For the past three years, I’ve styled my clients with sincerity and always with the goal of helping them feel like the most genuine version of themselves. I can’t begin to describe the joy I’ve felt receiving hundreds of client mirror selfies, surprise FaceTimes, and happy, confident texts punctuated with multiple exclamation marks. And in the spirit of being authentic, I also have to acknowledge that this job, which has brought me so much joy, asks for so much of me. I give my clients and my brand partners my EVERYTHING. I’m honestly incapable of doing it any other way. But my other job, my most important one, needs even more dedication. Being a mother to my boys is the best job I’ve ever had. There’s no other way to put it… they’re the coolest clients I’ll EVER find. So after so much consideration, I’ve made the very difficult decision to take a break from private client styling appointments and direct sourcing for the foreseeable future. And while it’s taken me forever to arrive at this decision, that doesn’t mean the decision will last forever. But for now, I know it’s the right one. This account, @stylewithkarla, will remain what it’s always been: a space for collaboration, creativity, and above all else, connection. This is most certainly not goodbye. It’s me being authentic and intentional about where I give my time and attention. And stay tuned, because even though this chapter is pausing for now, I’ve got big plans for SWK. Will I continue to host events for my EXCEPTIONAL brand partners? Of course! SWK loves throwing a party!! Will I continue to share my favorite fashion finds and thoughts on trends? LE DUH. I’m not going anywhere. I’m just keeping my three favorite, and possibly coolest, clients, Andrew and the boys, as my only retainers for the foreseeable future. As ALWAYS, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. Whether you’re a client, brand partner, peer, family member, friend, or follower, you mean the world to me. xx, Karla P.S.
