Excited to finally post the first part of a quite personal photo project that I started shooting last year, and wanted to materialise since the beginning of 2022. The online realm of false narratives, Surveillance, and the arising Nuclear threat due to the Ukraine war inspired post-apocalyptic ruminations, and the need to visualise them into narratives in a socio-environmental context. This project explores “the cues” driving the adjacent industry’s social interactions, and the complexities evolving to often contrast societal norms.Cuedustria aims to document the correlation between East London’s queer rave community and the industrial environments that serve as their natural habitat, reflecting their rough realities, and their ability to create their own utopian world of self-expression, folded within a rather bleak, dystopian picture.They just wanna have fun____ by @stylian____
