This weekend at OAX in Orlando was everything I didn’t know I needed. ❤️

Traveling with my husband is quickly becoming my favorite thing in the world. When we get away, it’s like we become one person, same rhythm, same habits, completely in sync. No stress. Just us. Loving life, laughing at the dumbest things and soaking up every moment.

OAX was incredible. We loved all of the artists, but meeting the whole Ink Pulp crew was definitely the best. Watching Joshua get tattooed by his favorite artist, Shawn Crystal, was such a cool full-circle moment. You could see how much it meant to him. And I got to hug my best friend Jess , which made it even sweeter.

We definitely ate way too much bad food… zero regrets.

We spent our last day at Universal Studios Orlando and leaned all the way into the fun. Walking through Harry Potter world felt surreal, and riding E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial brought back childhood memories I didn’t even realize I still carried. Joshua finally got to experience The Simpsons in real life, and Florida for the first time, which made me love it even more seeing it through his eyes.

It honestly felt like a mini honeymoon. Our first real trip as a married couple. I thank God for all of these moments and for bringing him into my life.

When I told my wife I wanted to start a Marvel collection, she was all in, with one condition: we had to get a Daredevil piece. Our first date was spent watching Daredevil: Born Again, so the character will always hold a special place for us. @ironstudios after seeing this statue in person it’s completely lived up to the hype. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. Everyone was right. This is easily the best 1/4 scale Daredevil statue out there.
Now the Marvel collection finally feels complete Wolverine, Deadpool Punisher and Daredevil.

This might be one of the best 1/4 scale Batman Black & Gray statues out there. @tweeterhead absolutely crushed it with this piece. The detail is unreal; from the portrait, to the cape flowing like it’s caught in the wind. The utility belt looks straight out of the comics, and that two-toned Batarang is just on another level.
