SNAGCUT- LATCH ROT C40 edition of ten. Some places don’t get visited all that often. And yes, it shows.
Try to get there anyway. Stay in touch with the things that get in your way. You’ll need that feeling sooner or later.
Third and final lesson in this little series if you will. know your place. embrace it.
By now you should be more or less back on your toes.

Exercise 2 in this little series if you will. designed to help you face reality, and learn to let all the negativity slide off again after a scorching summer.
Snagcut went out into the forests and spoke to the birds, amplifying their message through magnetic tape for everyone willing to listen.
Better ten birds in the air, and don’t be a fool: let that one go too. It will pay off.
Not exclusively for hnw birders of the purest kind but for everyone to savor.

SNAGCUT- a profound lack of appreciation. C60. limited to 10 copies

A lack of appreciation for the truly valuable things is what really sets things off here. SNAGCUT is back for you all, after a number of beautifully composed split releases and a few EPs, with 60 minutes of pure frustration recorded straight onto tape in a single take. “a profound lack of appreciation” picks up the tempo and keeps pushing it while simultaneously leaving room for reflection. Well, well, don’t we all need that!
Drone like part shift into total blizz from time to time, to corrode in feedback fuzz.
It comes in a screen-printed jewel case with a hand-printed j-card, which is part of an original engraving. All of this is wrapped in newsprint with a Belleman print.

W. ravenveer needs no introduction,we’ve all been enjoying this modular synth, guitar, and all-around wizard for quite some time already. Here he brings you 10 minutes of relief from reality, dragging you deep into damp caverns and shadowy holes. You can almost hear chains dripping from the speakers. Snagcut hits hard. constantly pushing boundaries here in search of becoming uninterpretably, existing only in the moment. Sorry for the spiritual bullshit vibe, but this really has nothing to do with that. Enjoy, and indulge to the fullest! #snagcut by @stynvanbrabant

There’s nothing here, really- 3”cdr, edition of 10.
This departs from thought — from losing oneself within it. The source material for this repetitive rumination is the ambient sound hovering just above the empty copper plate, which will ultimately carry and transfer an image onto paper.
Every additional layer worked into the plate will also generate its own sonic reflection, each time resulting in a new recording through this manually intensive process. Most likely a series between 7 and 10 recordings, eventually culminating in a final transformation into another form.
The resulting image and sounds will become part of a total installation, with a first presentation tentatively planned for November 2026 at a location still in development.

Those who commit to and acquire every edition in this series may also expect an original multi-colour mezzotint of approximately A3 format. Because everything is connected, and connection is everything.

kivesyskä- snagcut 3” split cdr. edition of 10 This format is truly ideal for these heavenly sounds! Kivesyskä brings us a track we almost never got to experience, but luckily caught just in time. Once again, Finnish passion, but in a less complex way than we’re used to from this artist. Snagcut has spent some time in empty halls and shaken off a few frustrations; we’re happy to share this with you. We’ll wrap things up with certainties. Surprises are for toddlers. For this release, the Czech Remnant (Mr. M of Chevallier Skrog, does that ring a bell?) joins forces with Snagcut to share their insights.
After some writing back-and-forth, this split reveals itself as a very intrinsically honest and personal work, not the least on a conceptual level. Vulnerable, in a sense. With clear references to the work of Milan Kundera, not hidden or downplayed , Remnant reaches an unprecedented lo-fi sonic honesty: unmatched and deeply affecting.
Snagcut, in turn, has gone through feverish times and captured this period in a direct and raw manner on tape. The result leans toward droney, meditative, repetitive compositions, with occasional outbursts that resonate in striking ways with Remnant’s insights.
A split for the patient, attentive, and open-minded listener. Make no mistake: this is powerful material, a whole different beast. Enjoy the trip. limited to 10 copies on recycled tapes with manual printed insert and obi strip. #snagcut by @stynvanbrabant

SNAGCUT: glazed reflections C-60
This perspective entails a reconfiguration of meaning-making, in which interpretation is no longer conceived as a projective act of the subject, but as a hermeneutic receptivity to the immanent structures of meaning within materiality. Reinterpretation, in this sense, requires a suspension of discursive dominance in favor of an attentive attunement to the resonances inherent in the material itself.
Value is thus understood not as extrinsic or instrumental, but as an intrinsic, ontological quality of matter. This shift repositions the role of the maker or observer from a productive agent to a mediating presence, wherein meaning emerges through the interaction between human and material.
