This Saturday, Rare Mamba lands at Styxx in Funke. One of the scene’s rising talents, bringing a fresh perspective and energy to the floor.

Our miss @evelynevanherf had a chat with Rare Mamba about his sound, about the role Funke and Styxx plays in the city’s cultural landscape.

As we close the last day of the heat wave, we’ll keep it cool with our airco running at full force, ice pops, free fresh water, ORS water.

One more run through @styxxcommunity’s mist.

Exploring and broadening the audiovisual experience at Fuse for years, the concept is landing back in our ‘Motion Room’ before venturing into different terrain.

Buried beneath an ocean of engrams from 5 years at Fuse. One night at a time. Never to be absolved.

We don't hide behind masks. We wear them because some parts of us are too alive to move through the world unprotected.

Every civilization that came before us knew this. The Egyptians masked their dead so the soul could find its next form. The Greeks used masks to force what polite society wouldn't say out loud. Across Africa and Asia, they were never costumes; they were openings.

Not a cover but a crossing.

Because you are not one person. You are the face the world gets, the face no one sees, the one you've buried somewhere, and the one you're not ready to find.

Show yours, this Friday. by @styxxcommunity
