Proud to present the next mix in our series from the master selector and steeze lord @Su66en9 out of Bali, Indonesia.

Trisna A Bestari, aka su66en9, was born in Cimahi, West Java, and raised in Bandung, Indonesia. Now based in Bali, he keeps evolving his sound, staying honest and responsive to whatever feels real. He runs the label Perspex and moves fluidly between roles: DJ, producer, improviser, just going with the moment.

He’s fully involved in every part of his craft, from the direction, the sound, and the visuals to how it’s released, making sure it all stays true to his vision. His roots are in experimental and improvised music, and that spirit still runs through his sets and productions. These days, it’s more about what feels right: minimal electro, textured sounds, playful rhythms, acid basslines. Sometimes stripped back, sometimes full tilt.

His work is rooted in the underground scenes of Indonesia and South East Asia, and carries the energy of building something from the ground up — independent, self-driven, and deeply connected to where he comes from.
