Finally had some time to shake off the cobwebs in the studio. Spent my time starting to mock up the control chair for the MU/TH/UR 6000 miniature. There aren’t a ton of shots of the actual chair so just going by feel and referencing the film/fan art.

An absolute bonkers pick for last nights movie night. This was super fun to watch with friends and I was shocked to learn how referenced and influential this film was to art and media to come. by @subatomic_mini

MU/TH/UR 6000 will be made up of 7 layered panels. A white face layer, a red intermediate layer which will represent lights that are not lit, and a matching black layer to block out any unwanted light once the piece is back lit. Each of the 7 black and red pairs has its own light signature to replicate the ever changing light sequences in the control room.

When does a collection become hoarding? Had to add two more shelves to the media room and still need to make some more. If the analogue collection didn’t do enough to highlight my age, maybe the inversion table will. by @subatomic_mini
