Hard Kicks, Soft Looks

Manchmal passiert das Interessanteste nicht im perfekten Pose-Moment, sondern kurz danach.

Bei subga war genau dieses Dazwischen spannend: Sonnenbrille, Haltung, Energy — aber auch die ruhigeren Sekunden, in denen der Blick weicher wird und aus der typischen DJ-Attitüde plötzlich Nähe entsteht.

Noch während des Shootings hatten wir einen sehr guten Austausch über die aktuelle Berliner Technoszene: über Underground, Dancefloor-Kultur, Räume, Veränderungen und die Frage, was eine gute Veranstaltung wirklich trägt.

Musikalisch bewegt sich subga als Berlin DJ zwischen genrefluiden High-Energy-Sets, Edits, harten Kicks, druckvollen Bässen, Trance, Techno und diesen Mitsing-Momenten, in denen man kurz alles um sich herum vergisst.

Genau diese Mischung wollte ich auch in den Portraits festhalten: Druck und Leichtigkeit. Pose und Person.
