Rams don't turn away from what stands in front of them. Nope. They lower their heads, dig their horns in, and charge that son of a bitch headfirst.

Which is probably why I have one permanently stapled to my throat now. Because apparently therapy was too expensive and tattoos are somehow a financially responsible coping mechanism.

I've spent too much of my life surviving things I never should've had to survive. Bad decisions. Bad people. Bad decisions involving bad people. A truly impressive catalog of “well, this wasn't in the brochure.”

And every damn time life thought it had finally found the right angle to knock me over, I got back up.

So here we are. New battle. New battlefield. Same idiot. Except this time, I'm not running.

I'm not ducking. I'm not waiting for the universe to apologize.
I'm putting my head down, planting my feet, and charging straight through whatever the hell is standing in front of me. Because that's what the ram does.

It doesn't ask the mountain if it's emotionally available. It doesn't schedule a meeting with adversity. It doesn't send a strongly worded email. It sees the problem and goes, “Cool. We doing this?”

And that's what this ram at my throat means.
Whatever comes next, I meet it headfirst.
Worst case scenario? I get knocked down again. Big fucking deal. I've been down before.

I know the way back up.

Now somebody hand me my sword, my tacos, and whatever OSHA considers a reasonable amount of spite. We've got a battle to win. 💪🐏

I remember when I discovered Dolly. My step mom at the time put a cassette into her old bester with a heater. I used to beg her all the time "can we listen to thst roses song?" Eventually she burned me a CD with that song and a few other Dolly songs on it. But Yellow Roses was always on repeat. I was so little I didnt understand the meaning of the song. All I knew is that Dollys voice made a threatening world feel safer. 💔 Rip Dolly

Dear former critics,

I hope you're stretching before you reach this hard to move the goalposts.

Remember when you said I couldn't? Thanks. Turns out spite burns calories, builds muscle, learns diagnostics, fixes cars, and gets people further than your opinions ever did.

While you were busy narrating my downfall, I was busy becoming someone you said didn't exist.

This isn't revenge. Revenge ends. This is maintenance. Every PR, every certification, every late night, every scar, every win... just another reminder that your opinion was never a prophecy.

Stay miserable if you want. I'll stay improving.

June is #mensmentalhealthawareness month...
Check on the men in your life... or just do something for them out of nowhere. Call em and see how they're doing. Send them $20 for gas. Whatever you do, don't attach strings to it. Our men are so precious... there are a lot more good ones than people give credit for. by @subiesmacks

Crazy thing is? October 2025 getting off the couch felt like a glitched out Dark Souls final boss the developers refuse to acknowledge.
Now? I'm getting training to compete in heavy lifting.
