Some personal vertical favorites of the past month. May was lovely! Good vibes all over. Or maybe it was just the bliss of being ignorant.

If you find yourself waiting by a window in a bar at daytime as the sun paints the long shadows, you might realize that someone is waiting for you and that you will be a bit late.

That’s how autumn feels this year.

Sun is lower now. Shadows longer. People go about their day, some with dread for autumns darkness, while others welcome it in knitted sweaters and sweet tea.

Life is just like a year. It goes in cycles. Until we, just like leafs, loose our grip and fall into oblivion.

Intoxication can be both liberating and encapsulating. While under the influence of an intoxicant, you might find your creative juices flowing. It’s a spark of that divine fire, illuminating your presence in the process.

Embrace it when it happens but don’t make it the fuel for your creativity. Instead, try to access that spark in a sober way and drag it into reality.

Reality always wins. Reality is the foundation upon which sparks of divinity can burn the brightest.

Anyway. It’s was an intoxicating night full of beautiful people.

When you’re in between and want to reach things a bit faster, you could always try to break reality into pieces and declare yourself the ruler of your own reality. If that’s something you’re up for, I would suggest you get yourself some wings and fly above it all. When you reach the other end of things, relax upon the golden throne of your own achievements.

All movements start in the mind. Expand it or get stuck forever in the mundane abyss.

Cleaning out the leftovers from summer. All the bits and pieces that didn’t fit anywhere. Sometimes the odd nuggets are meant to be dust, but sometimes you might find that one of those insignificant nuggets might be the cornerstone of it all.

There is something hidden somewhere.
Somewhere hidden there is something.
Something is there, hidden somewhere.

I bet there is a clear answer to it all and not a simple solution to anything.

A little bit of a different thang today. It’s still from the streets, but a few meters up above the pavements and asphalt roads.

Citizens with wings. Seagulls. Doves. Crows. They rule and roam the streets of Stockholm. Fearless and with gluttonous appetite they form their own city within the city. All shot with a 28mm lens, so there were a lot of running and jumping around, a behavior the birds could relate to, so it built a trust between me and the birds - nah. Just kidding. It was mostly ruffled feathers and goop my way.

Transition and transformation are a transit through a subconscious trance-state.

You might set out with a particular goal in mind, a definitive set of ideas with a lookout for that perfect flavor in life.

And then life hits you with an unexpected wave and casts you into a whole different sea.

Don’t worry. Nature will always lead you right you when the cosmic joke puts you behind new obstacles.
