When I was about six years old, my dad was a member of a CD club and let me choose an album. I picked Astro-Creep: 2000 by White Zombie. That record had a huge influence on my musical taste and shaped who I am as a musician. We wanted to pay homage to that album while still staying true to our own style with this cover of one of the greatest album openers of all time. Our cover of Electric Head Part 1 is out now on all platforms. #deathmetal #whitezombie #newmusic #techdeathtuesday #techdeath #shred #riffs #slideguitar #solo #slidesolo #guitarsolo #shred by @sublation_official

Every time you write an album, you throw away hundreds of ideas. Here are some ideas that got discarded during the creation of On the Advancement of Decay. #preproduction #music #deathmetal #techdeath #demo #demos #roughidea #grind #ballislife #metal #riffs #shred by @sublation_official

Max's top 16 metal releases of the year. The only way this would change is if Voidsphere does a surprise drop like they sometimes do in December, but at this point I doubt it.

Tag that person in the comments who always makes YOU laugh (or just send this to them to let them know).

When was the last time you laughed so hard you forgot everything else?

Laughing and joy aren’t just “extra” or “nice to haves”.

They are straight up medicine.

These pull you out of your head and back into your body, even if for just a moment. It helps you stay grounded, or handle difficult things with clarity, making them seem just the tiniest bit lighter.

These little pockets of joy matter. And keeping people in your corner that make you laugh so hard you can barely breathe is absofuckinglutely necessary.

Thanks @austin2051 . Go check out @sublation_official 🤘🎸 by @sublation_official
