Had some time this weekend to play around with rendering. Ended up making a little fan art for one of my favorite games. No updates in a while, but still, huge respect to the devs.

Artifacts from an industrial district.

A discarded concrete block / a fragment of a grass paver became the core of this floor lamp concept.

The design was developed with respect for the object’s history. The concrete remains untouched, preserved exactly as it was found, and secured within a bent stainless steel frame. The steel itself is a defective manufacturing offcut, giving a second life to another industrial remnant.

Rather than concealing imperfections, the piece embraces them, allowing material history to become part of its identity.

The proper function of an object is not always obvious. Personally, I sometimes prefer distortion — something that silently serves as a reminder, symbolizes an idea that matters deeply to me, pulls me out of the churn of routine, and reveals an immutable darkness.

I don’t know the exact time, but I know that time is passing. It is neither good nor bad — it is life.

A concept project of wall clocks made from reclaimed metal, where a gradient light spot acts as the hand, allowing the passage of time to be perceived. by @suboerr
