Sinners is musically led and yanks you along by your heart strings. @therackaracka and @michael_philippou created another absolute masterclass in grief with Bring Her Back. Both stunning works 🖤

Managed to snag Clown in a Cornfield from @epldotca to read ahead of the film coming out this month. Now, I'm pretty sure I might be the last person on the Frendo train, but I absolutely fell in love with this book. A 10/10 fun fucking romp that I wasn't expecting at all. Honestly, where have you been hiding @adamcesare ??

Look at herrrrrrrr 😭

I am so in love with how this cross-stitch came out! Although seeing the back made me feel like a heathen for knotting my thread so this is my first attempt at covering the back of my project.

I did some minor modifications to the pattern so it would fit into the only loop I had left. Which I also attempted to stain with watercolor paints 😶

I really thought I'd finish this project in six months. I was also REALLY wrong. I did have to make some executive decisions on the house as my contrast color was too dark and took away from the details. I chose the bind runes for protection (left) and love (right), because this piece represents my home, and those are two things I want my home to have and be for myself and my loved ones.

This was my first large-scale cross-stitch project and was an absolute dream to create. It's got my blood (literally), sweat, and hot chocolate (let's not talk about it) in it, and I can't wait to get it framed.

When I was first finishing up this project approximately 200 years ago, my partner described my knitting as "It involves a lot of row counting, black magic, and then poof she has made a thing" Which was both hilarious and also as a horror adoring fibre artist, very affirming.

P.s, still rocking the ring I bought in 2005 while on the psych ward (they had the best vendors on the main floor, gotta love those psychward souvenirs)

Can you believe that when I started this project back in June, I really thought I'd be done before the new year? Madness 😅
