OUR 2026 POSTER PROCESS 😵🔥🙌

This project began with Dragon Dreaming 2026’s element: Fire.
Each year, our stages (and the festival as a whole) cycle through the elements, with our main stage embodying Fire this year. The brief expanded to include local fossils before being passed to @bbennnybb

Benny took the concept into his deeply traditional, analogue process: rough sketches, pieces built together like a puzzle on grid paper, then carefully transferred onto cotton paper with the discipline required to get it right without mistakes. Alongside fire and fossils, his inspiration was connection; to the land and its history, the gallery, the bigger picture, and the family and friends around him. Special mention to Max, Alisa, James and Julia for their trust and encouragement.

His finished artwork was then passed to @alisa_laalaa who transformed it into the digital world you’ve seen throughout the year; lineup posters, launch promos, covers, logos, tiles, animation and even some pretty epic festival merch, created alongside Benny’s screen-printing skills 😉)
Alisa focused on amplifying the fiery motif while keeping everything bright and energetic, carefully preserving as much of Benny’s original artwork as possible. A particularly exciting challenge was translating the design into something that could live in screen print.

Finally, @sophieelvari brought the process together through the video you see here. With no initial content brief, she worked entirely from what had organically been captured along the way; piecing together imagery, information, and ideas to find the story within it.

An unreleased track from @enlil_dnb and @subsensory the final ingredient, with the edit shaped around the flow of the music.

This year has been an incredible exercise in collaboration and co-creation, and we’re so grateful to everyone who brought our 2026 visual world to life.

And thank YOU, Dreamers, for taking the time to see what actually goes into creating something this unique, special (and human 😉).

Give these incredible artists some love in the comments!!!
We can’t wait to see you so, so soon.

I am heavy in preparation for a massive New Years Eve celebration playing 2 Festivals in 2 countries 🎉

FIRST STOP 🛸
30/12 - Art Valley Festival NYE

I probably don't need to say much about AV if you have followed me for awhile.
I have been a resident act here for a number of years, and they have always been supportive, nurturing and motivating for my project.
It's been an honor to watch this event grow and flourish and it's certainly for good reason.
If you don't know about it, here are some clips from my set at the last AV Winter in June this year.

Tickets are sold out - and I cannot help you with that this time. taken in Art Valley by @subsensory

Dragon Dreaming 2025

Dragon is a special festival as anyone who has attended is aware. The reasons for this are numerous, some vibrant and unmistakable, others quiet yet deeply intentional, wisely sewn into the festival's core from the beginning so that change and evolution were intrinsic to its operation.
This year was the 'Spirit Year' at Dragon, so I will start with my favourite of the spirit words, being Gratitude.

Thank you to all of the musicians and DJs and artists that we worked with this year. Blown away your talent, and it sucked not being able to be in 4 places at once to witness all the performances after months of envisioning them.

To my brother and mentor Cam @volkiene__vorpal words can't express, but definitely there is no one else I could do the late nights and endless video chats talking music with.
The awesome artist services team @ola_inwonderland
And the wombats! You guys are the real rockstars and thanks for keeping the lid on it all.
All of the production team and stage crews. God damn you all out did yourselves this year.
Special shout to @freerange.gathering for building this masterpiece of a lake stage I had the pleasure of performing on Friday night.

To the festival itself, everyone that has contributed over the years to get it to this point and everyone I have the pleasure of working alongside to keep it evolving. The passion, professionalism and dedication is mind-blowing.
To the directors, thank you for the trust and opportunities this year. You guys continuously help and inspire me + countless others. @bumble_music @nitnat_pixie @robkdgordon ❤️

I'll stop there for now, will have more content and tings to share over the next few days.

Stoked to be heading back to Art Valley in a few weeks. This party and the community they have built make it so that returning feels like coming home.
If you haven't been and are interested, you certainly should jump on a ticket now as they sell out!

🎛️DJ SPOTLIGHT🎛️
🔮SUBSENSE🔮
Progressive psychedelic music tuned to provoke awareness of that which lies below, or beyond, the typical perception of the senses.
Subsense focuses on defined and spacious bass grooves, melody and sound design that expresses a balance of light and dark emotivity, telling its narrative in a playful yet vehement manner.
Subsense aims to create and present music that is both introspective and expansive, exploring the mysteries of the human psyche and its search for meaning amongst this chaotic, absurd and stunningly beautiful existence.
“The world is awash with colours unseen and abuzz with unheard
frequencies. Undetected and disregarded. The wise have always know that these inaccessible realms, these dimensions that cannot be breached by our beautifully blunt senses, hold the very codes to our existence, the invisible, electromagnetic foundations upon which our reality clumsily rests.”

We are now onto our third round at $200 so do yourself a favor save yourself fiddy smackers
