Whipping winds clears the fog to reveal a path through the dark… Soon we venture to the warehouses of North London, to trip out to a different kind of subterranean sound… Deep, gritty, ancient, new. Our first night takes place at Low Profile Studios (Loft), guided by some of London’s finest late night wanderers… ANNX @annx.arw Horston @horston.music Aknight (Live) @aknight_sounds Heavy Skin @heavyskin_ Tickets are available via the link in bio. With early birds sold out and 1st release moving quick, now is not the time to delay. ~~~~~~~~~~ Subsume exists beyond the dancefloor, and we bring with us special provisions to smooth our journey into darkness, with installations and activities for minds and bodies in need of brief respite... 🌘🦇🪐 If you can’t afford a ticket but would still like to attend, just drop us a DM and we’ll sort the rest 🖤 Track: Spekdrum by Wilko, released on Trips. by @subsume__
Introducing SubRec. A monthly mix series chronicling the grittier and trippier edges of electronic music. Just in time for October 31st, SubRec 001 is a unique take on the hallowed eve from friend, DJ and producer @vaqerovaqero When Diego sent over the mix, he told us how the ‘eerie’ brief gave him an opportunity to reconnect with his experimental roots. What emerged was a personal expression of taste, drifting through the many moods of ambient, experimental and leftfield techno. This is a reimagining of the hallowed eve. Spectral, rather than sinister, textured not terrifying. A psychedelic ride from an OG trance raver and ambient dreamer, settling back into his sound.
