Join Chapman as they interview author Daryl Richard Lawrence on his 2025 Alpha Flight Volume 1 companion & reference guide, True North. Discussing the X-Men’s northern neighbors, Chapman introduces the framework of viewing the large cast of characters as relationships to the human body, wrapped up in the phrase, “the body and _____”. It’s @theuncannyexp Eve, and I can’t wait to get back in the mansion! Big ups to Chuck X for getting me the on-campus job for the second year running. Part I covers their history to X-Men & the site, views on the changing nature of fandom and discussion of the earthbound storyline. Part II dives into the Hala half of the book and wraps up our thoughts on the themes of this first installment.
