A special production with an incredible cast and crew that are equal parts talented, fun, and kind. This was a really personal, heartfelt story to tell, and I'm honoured to be telling it with so many artists that share that heart.

More coming so tune in...

“The endless procession of people and things that make up the world is for me an interminable gallery of pictures.”

— Fernando Pessoa, The Book of Disquiet

Impossible to capture the spirit of a place in a video, let alone a 30-second one. But there’s something about film — the fragments somehow remember more than you do.

This is pretty, pretty, pretty good!

Very cool to be featured in @playbackinstagram about our first feature ‘Autumn Hill’ which just recently wrapped production. Can’t wait to share more updates as we finish up post on our “slasher romcom”

Another trip around the ☀️

My wish for you this year is that you put down the phone…

Take a deep breath.

Go for a run with no headphones.

A swim in a cold lake. A hike after a heavy rain.

Believe me, it’s easy…

‘till next time. by @suburbanmiike

“The training is the marathon, the race is the celebration”.

This rang true in Toronto, which felt like dancing in the rain topped off with a new PB of 3:23:35

Special mentions to @jdougie93 on his first marathon hitting 3:48 @asht_olivia for accepting “running” as weekend plans for the past 14 weeks @sirsugewhite for our weekly runs and my coach, my dood, and certified Big Dawg @mend0utside for putting together a perfect program to attack sub 3:30.

While the race goal has been accomplished, we’re still a few bucks away from making our fundraising goal of $10,000 with team MAX AIR for the SickKids Foundation.

Link in bio to learn more about the incredible work that the SickKids Foundation does to fight childhood illness and our inspiration for choosing them as our organization of choice.

I started running because in a world of unknowns, running was something I could control. You can ask any runner, we all have a reason.

While my reason has changed over time, running has made me a better friend, husband, and person.

This Sunday I’ll be running the Toronto marathon in honor of my Uncle Dave, who lost his battle to lung disease in January.

While life’s unknowns can bring great injustice, Dave lived his to the maximum and capitalized on what was within his control.

His legacy lives on in the MAX AIR ethos, defined as living in integrity with your values, pushing to the limit, and striving fearlessly toward your goals.

This year, team MAX AIR is raising support for the Sick Kids Foundation.

I encourage you to check out our team page (link in bio) for more info on team MAX AIR, my goal, and why we chose the Sick Kids Foundation as our organization of choice.

I appreciate your support, and I hope you discover your own way of carrying the MAX AIR spirit, wherever it may take you.

Mike

Friend, lover, dog-mom, confidante, adventurer, auntie, wife.

These are a few of the many hats @asht_olivia wears, and she wears them all with style and grace.

May you continue to wear many wonderful hats. I’ll always be here to tell you how fabulous you look, in all of them.

Happy birthday, pooch. by @suburbanmiike
