We invited the great Claude Bosi @claudebosi1 to come and have a look at the new Sub-Zero & Wolf display at our London showroom.

Claude had some nice things to say about what it means to own a Sub-Zero

Claude Bosi is one of the most revered figures in contemporary gastronomy, renowned for his bold creativity, refined technique, and uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

Born in Lyon, the spiritual heart of French cuisine, Bosi trained under some of the most celebrated chefs in Europe before establishing his own voice - one that fuses classical French foundations with modernist flair.

His flagship restaurant, Claude Bosi at Bibendum, located in London’s iconic Michelin House, quickly earned two Michelin stars, affirming his status as a master of innovation and precision. Known for dishes that are as intellectually stimulating as they are emotionally resonant, Bosi balances technical brilliance with deep respect for ingredients, particularly his love of British produce.

Sub-Zero & Wolf X Matthew Ryle

My partnership with Sub-Zero & Wolf has been amazing, and the home studio is incredible. The world’s finest cooking and cooling appliances. An absolute joy to cook with.

We started this journey over a year ago and with the guys over at @interiors12 who designed and built the kitchen we have made something very special.

Big things to come.

Some kitchens are built for show. This one, in Atlanta, was built for evenings like this.

Mussels on the flame and a bottle chosen from the wine cellar. Fresh produce kept crisp behind brass mesh, ready the moment inspiration lands. Four Wolf ovens working in rhythm while friends gather at the table and the light softens through the windows.

This is a home where cooking isn’t a chore to get through. It’s the part of the day everyone looks forward to.

Nothings beats the smell of fresh bread in the morning.

Especially when cooked in a Wolf. The proof feature on the oven sets up the loaf perfectly for baking

Every oven is black inside. Wolf made theirs cobalt blue so you’d know what you were looking at before you ever saw the badge.

Preservation, engineered

Dual compressors. Sealed climate architecture. Ethylene scrubbed every 20 minutes, with air purification based on tech by NASA.

This is why food last longer and stays fresher in a Sub-Zero

The home bar. The dressing room. The pool house. The cinema. Wherever life happens, Sub-Zero undercounter refrigeration belongs.

The same engineering discipline as our full-size units, condensed to slip beneath the counter. Temperatures held to within a single degree. An air seal on all four sides of the door. Built to last a minimum of twenty years. Most undercounter fridges are an afterthought. This one is a Sub-Zero.

Fire doesn’t have a substitute.

Induction is clever. Electric is convenient. But no algorithm replicates what an open flame does to food, the instant response, the visual language of heat, the sear that only combustion delivers.

Wolf’s dual-stacked burners are engineered for both extremes: ferocious top end power for restaurant-grade searing, and a true low simmer gentle enough to melt chocolate uncovered.
