Age is just a number? Right? I have always said that because my partners have historically been 10 years my senior.

Turns out, it’s still true! Even Nick is 17 years younger than me.

I used to pray, “Lord if this person is not for me, please remove them” which was so self centered. Now my prayer is, “Lord, please partner me with someone who, together, we will serve Your purpose.”

Golf doesn’t build character
it exposes it.

I thought moving in together would solve more problems than it created.

Instead, it revealed parts of me that still needed to grow.

This isn’t about pointing fingers or saying anyone is the problem. It’s about taking responsibility for my own walk with God.

Over the last few months, I’ve realized that becoming the man I want to be requires more than love—it requires discipline, purpose, and obedience, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Sometimes the hardest decisions aren’t about choosing between what’s good and what’s bad.

They’re about choosing between what’s comfortable and what you believe God is calling you toward.

I’m still learning. Still growing. Still trusting Him with every step.

If this next chapter brings me closer to the man God created me to become, then every difficult moment will have been worth it.
