Thank you for all the birthday wishes and even though my birthday wasn’t how I planned it to be, I made it to see another year. Ending chapter 34 and starting a new one, I want to leave behind feeling ashamed and embarrassed. A month in a half before turning 34 I had to learn how to love the new me. The new me with #alopeciauniversalis. Being angry, upset, feeling like my body betrayed me and hiding myself under wigs and having a false sense of happiness about myself isn’t how I wanted to be 34 and not bringing all of those feelings into 35. I spent a lot of nights crying by myself and hating staring at myself in the mirror bc I didn’t recognize the person staring back at me. Going through the 5 stages of grief I’ve finally found acceptance and a love for myself that I never thought I would find again. I can finally look at myself in the mirror 🪞 and tell the person staring back at me I’m beautiful and actually believe it. Learning that hair doesn’t define you and truly understanding what it means. So be kind to people because you never know what personal struggles a person can be going through behind closed doors. With that being said here’s to turning 35 and not hiding who I am. May 35 bring me peace, more happiness, love, more healing and financial freedom! 🥳🥳🥳 by @suchadeeva
