After four long, transformative, and strenuous years, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a 4.0 GPA.

These past few years have built me, broken me down, and rebuilt me from the ground up more times than I can count.

This journey was shaped by my unwavering faith, perseverance, and the grace of God in every moment I felt I had nothing left to give. There were times I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, times I lost parts of myself and questioned whether medicine was truly the path I wanted to pursue. But through it all, I never surrendered to doubt or negativity because I was never walking alone.

In every moment of exhaustion and self-doubt, God, my family, and friends closest to me carried me through.

This journey demanded everything from me, blood, sweat, many tears, failure, resilience and immense growth both academically and through the incredible experiences outside the classroom that shaped who I am today.

Now, I stand in the light at the end of the tunnel, closing this chapter with immense pride, gratitude, and deep humility as I step forward into my next chapter in medicine. taken in University of Massachusetts Amherst by @sudanraphael
