Scenes from Thailand! 🇹🇭 Happy I was able to take this trip with my mom to Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, and Pattaya. Highlights for me included seeing the reclining Buddha, riding in a tuk tuk, appreciating the intricate murals and mosaics at the temples, and eating delicious food. 🪷🛺🛕 taken in Thailand by @sueb513

That went by way too fast. Spent three days with two of my best friends, shopping, watching trash tv, eating cheese, puzzling, drinking wine and staring at the ocean. We even got a FaceTime in with our missing Goon, Cynthia and started planning our next big trip. Lucked out all those years ago in 6th grade when I met these two smarties. 🩷🌊 taken in Depoe Bay, Oregon by @sueb513

New Orleans is so special. I wish I had several weeks to absorb more about its history, not just a few days. Every person we met was the sweetest. The weather limited our time out and about, but we were able to get to the garden district for a bit by streetcar. Already looking forward to visiting again, hopefully during milder weather. by @sueb513

My best nine books of 2025:
Say Nothing | A+
Solito | A+

Prophet Song | A
Orbital | A
All Fours | A-
Ministry of Time | B+
North Woods | B
Creation Lake | C+
Thanks @multnomahcountylibrary for the books (no fees is nice for this slow reader) and for Everybody Reads, which helped me discover Solito this year. by @sueb513

I guess summer is officially over, so here are some highlights. Visited Nashville, Cincinnati, New York, New Jersey. Went to Atlanta to see Beyoncé. Went to the Oregon coast with family. Saw Death Cab and Japanese Breakfast at Project Pabst on the waterfront. Tended to my flowers (though not as much as I would have liked). Got in some good quality time with friends and family. Then started the kitchen remodel. Excited to spend fall cooking, reading and relaxing. by @sueb513

The drama!
What a day to visit both @adelmanpeonygardens and @schreinersgardens for the first time. Loved the contrast of the flowers with the stormy skies.

Obsessed with the Mrs. FDR peony (the big pink one)! Might have to go back to get one for my yard 😬. taken in Adelman Peony Gardens by @sueb513

Last one of the series!
Two years ago, I challenged myself to find flowers or plants from A to Z. I finally got my last one! Most of them were found in my garden and on my walks, but some were in nurseries or plant sales. It was fun to notice more plants throughout my day and on my travels. Hardest letter was U!

Here are U through Z:
Urn plant (yes, this is a little cheating, but I had to)
Viola
Wisteria
Xerochrysum (white straw flower)
Yucca
Zinnia by @sueb513
