The name describes a style emphasizing fluidity, body movement, and musical expression. RESPECT, CONSENT AND COMMUNICATION are essential to close partner dancing!🥰 taken in Nairobi, Kenya by @sueltadancebyrt

Founder -> Haitian Musician Nemours Jean-Baptiste, helped establish modern Kompa in 1955!🫠

Kompa empasizes connection, musicality and smooth body movement! And it felt exactly like that!💯

Do not overthink it😉

Because the week is already serious enough.

Here’s to finding little moments of joy wherever you can. taken in Nairobi, Kenya by @sueltadancebyrt
